About Me
Hi my name is Jane I am an Ofsted registered childminder I live in Pendlebury Swinton with my husband, son and daughter. We have all been DBS checked.
We have 2 small dogs.
I provide a happy, healthy, clean and stimulating home environment for every child.
I have a private page for early years parents. I post lots of photos each day of the activities we have been doing.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as set out by the government.
I offer the children lots of activities such as colouring, making things, play-dough, story-time, small world, imaginary play, to name but a few. I have a large secure all weather garden with a variety of sit on rides, little tikes house and slide, foam building bricks, balls. The children have lots of learning opportunities both inside and outside.
I take the children out everyday, to the park, to the shops or we play outside in the garden.
I treat each child as an individual.
I love caring for children and find the job very rewarding. Its great to watch the children in my care develop and grow into confidence children.
My Experience
I have been minding since September 1996.
I have minded very young babies, toddlers and school age children.
I have worked for social services minding children with special needs.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and education.
A first-aid certificate which I renew every 3 years
Food Hygiene Certificate rating 5 (Highest level available)
Safe Guarding Certificate
Lots of Certificates appropriate to childcare
I go on regular training courses to keep up with new legislation or practices

I work from 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday these hours can be flexible

Jane and her daughter amy are fantastic, amazing carers who are fab to work with and always seemed to go the extra mile. Our daughter loved both Jane and Amy and she still talks about them now even though we said our goodbyes 3 months ago. We were incredibly sad to leave as we trusted them both explicitly. Communication with jane was always brilliant and the amount of stuff she does with the kids is definitely more than most childminders. Jane really gets them ready for school. I’d recommend Jane and Amy to anyone!

It was a year ago Jane was looking after my daughter and my little girl still asks to go to Jane's everyday still talks about all the fun she had and all the things she learned
