Happitots Cove Bay
Happitots Cove Bay provides a stimulating atmosphere to encourage your child’s development. Happitots Cove Bay is housed in a former residential property, with an extension to the rear of the building creating a substantial yet homely nursery setting. The nursery is located in the heart of the village of Cove Bay, Aberdeen. We have ample parking with easy access to main routes and convenient links to public transport services.
Playrooms & Garden
Playrooms within the nursery are generously proportioned, carefully planned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments in which children can grow and learn with confidence. Each playroom has access to outdoor play areas offering the opportunity for regular outdoor learning opportunities across all areas of the curriculum. Our 3 large outdoor play areas allow children to get fresh air and have fun in a safe and secure area.
Our ‘Sunbeams Room’ cares for our babies from 6 weeks – 18 months. We would then hope to advance your child to our ‘Moonbeams Room’ which cares for our toddlers from 18 months – 3 years. Finally your child will progress to our ‘Shining Stars Room’ which cares for our Pre-School children from 3 years – 5 years.
Early Years Care & Education
Cove Bay Kindergarten is an established and trusted centre for early education. Staff are committed in creating an atmosphere of care, respect, learning and fun which radiates through this happy nursery.
We are passionate about quality of Early Years Care and Education. We believe that children learn through play, living, example, interaction and teaching. This concept forms the core of our ethos.
Practical Information
Cove Bay Nursery is a recognised Investor in People, Member of NDNA, Placement provider for Aberdeen College and a Registered ECO schools centre.
The nursery operates in partnership with Aberdeen City Council to offer funded pre-school education sessions.
Our nursery cares for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are registered to care for 62 children.
Opening Hours
The nursery will be open Monday to Friday, with the exception of four public holidays over Christmas and New Year.
Day Session: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Morning Session: 8am-1pm
Afternoon Session: 1pm-6pm
Full or part time sessions are available.

My son started here this week, and on just his second settling in session off he went without even a backward glance. The staff are fantastic, friendly and very caring.
The facilities are clean and well maintained, lots of indoor and outdoor activities for the children to enjoy.
