I visited Amanda and her setting when I was looking for a childminder after returning to work. My previous arrangements had unfortunately fallen through. I contacted Amanda, we discussed my situation and arranged a visit.
Amanda was very accommodating and willing to help. I would advise, whatever your situation, to contact Amanda as she seemed adaptable and also provided solutions.
She is ideally located if you work within the city centre (or live that way) and very close to Central Park. She had a large playroom with a variety of toys for the children. Her garden was lawned and was a great size, enough room for the children to play and explore. Amanda also informed us of some sessions they attend, which seemed stimulating, social and fun.
Amanda was friendly and approachable from the offset. We also had the pleasure of meeting her daughter.
Unfortunately, I did not choose Amanda to care for my child, however this was due to location. I live in Orton and in the end I chose a local childminder to suit my needs for the long run (ie, when they start school).
