A Truly Exceptional Childminder
Cath has cared for our son Oakley from 9 months old until 2 years old, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better childminder. The only reason we are leaving her care is because our family is emigrating to Australia.
From the beginning, Cath took the time to truly understand Oakley as an individual. She recognised his curiosity, determination and love of learning, and always found ways to nurture and encourage these qualities. Whether it was supporting his fascination with how things work, encouraging his independence, or helping him explore the world around him, she always met him where he was developmentally and helped him flourish.
During his time with Cath, we have watched Oakley grow into a confident, happy, kind and inquisitive little boy. His language has developed enormously, his social skills have blossomed, and he has gained so much confidence interacting with other children and adults. Cath has always celebrated his achievements with us, from his early milestones to the incredible progress he has made in communication, problem-solving and independence.
What has always stood out is how well Cath knows him. She understands his personality, his interests, his routines and what makes him feel secure. As parents, there is no greater comfort than knowing your child is with someone who genuinely cares for them and understands them so well.
Cath has provided a warm, nurturing environment where Oakley has felt safe, loved and encouraged to be himself. We truly believe she has played an important role in helping shape the lovely nature he has today. The bond they have built together is something we will always be grateful for.
Leaving Cath is one of the hardest parts of our move. We feel incredibly lucky that Oakley had such a wonderful start to his early years, and we cannot thank her enough for the love, care and support she has given our family. We would recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent looking for exceptional childcare.
