I live in West Molesey, close to Walton, Hersham and near Hampton Court. I decided to become a childminder after having my daughter Jessica (March 2012) and we have since had our son Cody (November 2016). We also have a friendly cat called Lupin. I have now been a childminder since March 2013 and I have an Ofsted rating of good.
My daughter goes to St.Albans Catholic Primary school so I will be able to do school runs for other children attending the school.
My son attends The Children’s Workshop so I can do nursery drop offs and pick ups from there.
We live within walking distance of the local schools, nurseries, parks and playgrounds. My house has a playroom, a private garden and space to play.
With the children we go to lots of local playgroups and music groups, we do craft activities and play outside. I like to do crafts, educational play, baking, playdough, play with toys and reading books. We also go for trips to the library, to feed the ducks and to play in the park. I like to do a variety of outings to places such as Wisley or the Look out and Discovery centre as well as to local parks and groups. I have membership to national trust and the Hampton court palace.
I live with my husband Nathan who works in television, and this is how I met him in my previous job. This gave me organisational skills and the ability to think quickly when things don't always go to plan. I make all my own food using fresh fruit, meat, fish and vegetables ensuring a healthy and balanced diet. My son has allergies so I am experienced in catering for specific diets.
My main experience comes from having my own children and I have now been a childminder since March 2013. Prior to getting married I lived with a childminder and did some occasional babysitting.

I couldn't recommend Lisa highly enough, she is an amazing childminder. Lisa is so caring, nurturing, imaginative and creative. She cooks delicious dinners and cakes and always seems to come up with the most genius craft creations and activities that my daughter loves. Our experience with Lisa has been better than we could have ever imagined and we are really grateful to Lisa for the positive influence she has had and all the fun and love she has shared. We feel so lucky to have found Lisa, thanks to a friend's recommendation, and to now be able to highly recommend her to others, having enjoyed such a positive experience. We are sad that our time together has come to an end with my daughter starting school, Lisa and family shall be very much missed. Thank you Lisa for everything.
If you are looking for a childminder who is diligent, responsible, kind and treating your child like their own, with a bubbly personality and fun to be around with daily outings and various activities and that you can totally rely on - look no further, you have found her!
My husband and I worked full time, and needed a reliable childminder who we could trust to look after our daughter on a daily basis and also provide all of the above!
We quickly learnt that Eloosha was in safe hands when she was at Lisa's care by how observant Lisa was. Somehow:) Lisa almost instantly figured out what type of child/personality Eloosha was - what she liked or disliked, knew exactly how to engage her into play or calm her down or even give her some extra warmth and cuddles for when she needed it and wanted a quieter time.
Also Eloosha is a bilingual child and she had little knowledge of the English language when she started with Lisa. So to understand Eloosha's needs better Lisa attended a special training course for childminders looking after the bilingual children, which we thought was remarkable and were very grateful for.
Lisa looked after Eloosha for 3 years from when she was little up until she started school. Needless to say that Eloosha made great friends along the way and especially with Lisa's daughter Jessica (who is as bubbly as her mum by the way :)) and all of Lisa's lovely family including grandparents who come to visit, and who Eloosha absolutely loved to be around. She never wanted to leave at pick up times, which was a great sign and told us a lot!
And now that Eloosha started school she misses all of her friends a lot. I really do hope we can all stay in touch in the future and see our little girls grow up and develop a lifelong friendship.
My husband and I could not recommend Lisa more!

I was so lucky to find Lisa when I did as she has s provided excellent care for my boys for over 3 years now. She is caring and professional and invests so much time and energy into her job, the children are never bored!
I would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a childminder.
I can honestly say that I've never been more impressed by a childminder than I am by Lisa Tanner. She embodies all of the personal qualities I could hope for in a person I would trust to take care of my children (genuinely kind and caring, responsible to a T, and professional but fun!) I feel completely at ease entrusting my little girl to her care because I can see how comfortable my little one is with her and how naturally and positively Lisa interacts with her. I've watched my little girl go from being very clingy to me and not trusting of anyone (aside from mummy and daddy) to opening up with complete trust to Lisa and starting to relax a bit more in general.
I not only see how good Lisa is with my own child but I've observed her interacting with other children and can see how genuinely she enjoys them and how positively they all respond to her in kind. Lisa is deeply conscientious of her responsibilities as a childminder and keeps her level of care and interaction at the highest standard, including making sure the children get plenty of healthy and fun educational experiences, indoors and out.
Having had experiences with several childminders in the past I had come to feel quite wary of the profession and didn't have very high hopes that one individual could deliver the care I want for my daughter. Lisa's approach to childminding has convinced me it is definitely possible. From the lovingly made diary that Lisa created on the first day to keep me up to date with my little girl's time away from me, to the absolute contentment on my daughter's face when I come to collect her, and all of the little updates and photos that Lisa very kindly sends across so that I can feel connected to her happenings... I could not be happier, and clearly, neither could my baby girl!
I'd love to keep Lisa as my best kept childcare secret but it wouldn't be fair to keep her to myself!
