Pam has looked after our daughter for the past two and a half years and we are so grateful for the care she has given her during that time.

The planning and organisation of thoughtful, developmentally appropriate and fun activities has been fantastic. Her attention to detail, particularly in terms of adjusting activities to match the ability of each child was so appreciated. We loved how much time was spent outdoors in the garden or getting out and about to local parks, conservation areas and animal parks. Pam would have an activity planned for these trips to make the most of the environment and add some gentle learning in to the trip too. The mix of a wide range of activities within the home setting as well as time spent at a regular playgroup session with other childminders enabled our daughter to practise interacting with other familiar children in a safe larger setting which became more important to us as she got a bit older.

Our daughter has also made great friends with the children she met in the setting which was a lovely bonus. We have always been keen for a small family feel for the early years and Pam’s setting provided that.

We were always appreciative of Pam’s flexibility and responsiveness, whether it was for one off extra sessions when we needed unexpected help or an occasional change in timings on our part.

Her daily updates with photos and milestone updates were always lovely to read. It felt like she really got to know our daughter, her likes and dislikes and the best ways to communicate with her.

Pam’s administration was fantastic and she made signing up for the relevant government free hours straightforward, initiating the conversation at the appropriate time.
