I am an experienced, mature, reliable lady, who works to build kindness trust and fun in my working day, I belief in good structures and routine, and being a strong role model for the children.
I have training in child development and counselling, I am creative and musical, I beliefs encouraging friends and colleagues to get the best from themselves and belief life is a gift.
My Experience
I am a mother of two now, adult, son 21 and a daughter 25 this has given me a wide experience from birth through to adulthood I understand life transitions and the effects such changes make on family life.
I have skills in developing caring relationships with children to build trust, which allows me to support their needs. Through studies I have developed knowledge of the theories of what a child needs to develops and learns. I have skills in counselling and uses these to understand the many ways a child can express their feelings to an adults and each other, I also have experience and knowledge through work and studies of supplying healthy nutritious meals, and healthy, creative activities for a Childs emotional and physical well being. I am an forest school practitioner and have used these skills along with nature based activities with children in my care. I have grown vegetables and explored the wild life with children.
I have a first aid, food hygiene and child protection training, I am also registered with the Scottish social service council. Have a resent PVG, and a driving licences.
