My name is Rebecca, I am 38 years old and am married to Chris. We have 4 children and live in Cardigan.
We have four hens, four ducks and two dachshunds. All of which are used to children.
I regularly attend Jigso Children's Centre and toddler groups. I am able to take children to and from Ysgol Meithrin Cardigan and Cardigan Primary school.
I have a range of activities available ranging from art and craft, role play, outdoor play to cooking. I have a exploratory area in my garden and actively encourage children to play outdoors and help grow various plants (strawberries, herbs, vegetables). We spend time on the local beaches and the local wildlife park as well as visiting local National Trust properties.
I have been awarded my level 1 and 2 In the RHS School Gardening Awards.
We regularly visit the widlife park, local beaches and other attractions and enjoy exploring our surroundings and nature.
Where possible I have a holistic approach to play and have a variety of natural resources for the children to play with and explore.
I have been working as a Childminder since march 2010.
Over the last 15yrs I have worked in various childcare setting ranging from nurseries, creches, children's centre to residential homes. I have worked with children with disabilities, speech and language delay and learning disabilities.
Stimulating safe environment with lots of play and learning opportunities. Caring and nurturing in a home environment.
I have experience caring for children with allergies and food intolerance.
I four children of my own and all children are welcomed into our home.
I am also a volunteer scouter working within my local Cub group (8-11 year olds) on a weekly basis. When needed I also work with the Beavers (6-8 year olds) and scouts 11-16 year olds.
I have been registered for seven years with CSSIW. Both myself and my husband are CRB checked.
I am also registered with the Educations Workforce Council as I also undertake work in primary and secondary schools on a supply basis. I have worked as a LSA within classes and also on a one to one basis with children with additional needs. This has furthered my knowledge and experience of working working with in the Foundation Phase and Key stage 1/2. I now also have experience of working within Secondary schools with pupils on both a one to basis and in groups supporting them throughout the school day.

- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
£10 for after school care between 3.15 - 5.15pm
£35 for holiday care between 8.45-5.15pm Full fee is payable child/parent is ill. If I am ill no fee is payable.
I accept childcare vouchers.
Those living in a Flying Start area who are eligible for their 2 year olds can receive funding for 2 and a half hours a day to attend my setting.
