**Ofsted Registered Childminder**
15 hours and 30 hours funded places available
I am a 36yr old, very happy, bubbly Stratford Mummy of two.
I am Married to my husband of 11 years and best friend of some 20 years. We live in a small secluded development, just inside Stratford upon avon, away from busy roads. I Drive a People Carrier and have car seats to suit every age and stage.
My main passion is all things crafty, I take pleasure in making things with my children, and when they have gone to bed, I make a little more, just for me because I love creating and crafting! Their isn't a day when I am not hoovering glitter and paper cuttings out my carpets, but hey they aren't little long!
I am laid back, and after working with children of all ages for a long time, I have oodles of patience!
I place massive emphasis on making memories, and making smiles. I approach childcare of others children in a similiar vain to how I care for my own. This is what I have always hoped the childcare I have chosen has done for my little ones, and I wouldn't expect anyone to want anything less from me.
I am a season ticket holder of Warwick Castle/ Blenheim Palace/ The Butterfly farm / National trust/ Umberslade Farm /Compton Verney / Brandon Marsh, so we visit these often, we also visit the Horse Sanctuary at Oxhill at least once a month, I use JNB gymnastics and Stratford garden centre soft play every week with the children. We cook together weekly, and have a little plot in the garden we tend to together, and an allotment of our own at Park road Allotments . All outings are covered within my hourly rate and not a chargeable extra.
We are a medium sized setting of 6-9 children and upto 3 members of staff according to numbers in attendance.
When I left school I was a Mothers help for a farming family in a manor house just outside Droitwich, I cared for 4 children between the ages of 3 months and 11 years, on a live out basis, and often holidayed with them to give support, and worked weekends to suit the family. I also cooked for the family, did Laundry, and cleaning duties as and when asked of me.
Some years later I began my life in retail and have been a retail manager and Area Manager for some 15 years, I have had my two little gems whilst juggling a management job, and relied on full time childcare myself, I decided to retrain as a childminder to allow me to grow my own business and provide a childcare option I couldn't find when looking- which was a medium size setting, which wasn't in a nursery based enclosed environment. I wanted my children outside as much as possible, not within a static unchanging environment similar to a school, as they are at school long enough!. To this day that is the basis of our decision making and thought processes. We aim to adventure together, and create adventures in different environments every day.
I also have extensive experience with ADHD and Autism, and welcome any super special children, the same as any other.
I began the Childmining course in January 2014, and completed ofsted registration in June 2014. I feel qualified already by being a mother of two, but enjoyed doing peadiatric first aid training, and looking at the early years educational syllabus. I am fully registered with ofsted, have public liability insurance, and 2 cars that are insured to carry the children's for others. I am available for new little gems to join our family orinetated routine enjoying crafty fun days, adventuring our world. I will spend alot of time on welly walks, drawing, painting, playing shops, using sensory activities, and of course we sing, STOMP, and Dance alot!!!!!!! Life here is fun, I am fully available at present, and welcome anyone to come and have a cuppa and chat to me in our family home or at the park (subject to Covid guidance!) to see if I can offer a childcare solution that your comfortable and happy with.

My son has been looked after by Sarah for over 2 years now. I would not hesitate to recommend Precious Little Smiles childminder services. Sarah is an extremely efficient administrator keeping parents up to date with the progress of the children in her care. My son (3 years old) always enjoys his time there as the activities are so varied and he often asks over the weekend if he is going to Sarah's today. Plus she's a better cook than me in my sons's opinion so he always eats well too!
We knew Sarah was the right childminder for our daughter from the first time we met her, and were so keen to get a place that we booked before our daughter was even born and will be sending our 2nd child here when I return to work.
We've been so pleased to have found Sarah, she's great on a personal level - easy to relate to and she provides wonderful home cooked food. She gives the children daily opportunities to develop various skills both in an indoor creative environment and in an outdoor physical environment. The trips they do sound such fun and Sarah provides photos so I can see what they've been up to. Our little girl is happy here - she's always pleased to arrive and clearly has a brilliant relationship with Sarah and the other children.
I'd recommend her to any parent seeking childcare without hesitation.
