About Me
My name is Mandy; I am 37 and live in St Albans, Bernards Heath area with my husband Dan and two sons James (3) and Reece (1). I have a separate playroom which is well equipped for children of all ages and a good size garden with plenty of outdoor toys. I also live directly opposite a park which we use regularly. My house is smoke and pet free. I live only a few doors away from Bernards Heath Infant school so drop off and collection is very convenient.
I am also a school governor at Bernards Heath Infant School.
My Experience
My aim is to meet your child's individual needs by caring for them in a warm, safe and stimulating environment. I will help them achieve their development goals through play, learning and most importantly fun!
I have a wide range of arts and crafts activities, baking equipment and musical equipment. My hourly rate includes food, snacks and drink.
I have just completed my Ofsted Inspection and have received a "good" overall.
I am able to provide references upon request.
My Qualifications
I have undergone full training through the NCMA (National Childminding Association now known as PACEY - Professional Association of Childcare and Early Years) and I am a member. I have also completed courses in Safeguarding Children, Paediatric 12 hour course for Adults/Infant/Child First Aid, Food Hygiene, UK Open Learning ‘Childcare Home Practitioners’ course at Level 3, Cache ‘Understand how to set up a home based childcare service’ course at Level 3 and the more recently I have taken courses on ‘The revised EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) 2012 and Two Year Old Progress Checks’ and also ‘Assessments, Observations and Review’. I have also participated in Baby Massage and Baby Reflexology training.
