Looking for a new challenge! I am a fun and creative person with a range of experience, from nanny, play-scheme leader to primary teacher. I am a Mother to a 7 year old girl (school age) and baby boy age 19 months who I am caring for at the moment and who I hope to bring with me to a nanny job (although this is not essential). Most of the activities I plan with children involve exploring outdoors, being creative (getting messy) and promoting caring relationships with each other. My ideal position would be part time childcare local to Yateley (ideally within school hours but not essential). I have some availability in the school holidays too. I have a really good knowledge of the local area and all the play centres, parkes and places to explore both with little tots and older explorers.
I am also able to offer private tuition to infant age children preparing for school or supporting their learning the first few years of school. I can offer a varied curriculum which provides hands on activities supporting language, communication early phonic and number skills in a fun way!
• Seven years teaching experience with children in Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage
• Employment as a nanny since 2012 for children from babies to 8 year olds.
• A commitment to maintain a fun and stimulating environment for children
• An in depth knowledge of the PE and Art curriculum
I have a BA hons in Childhood Studies (2;1 grade) and BA hons in Primary Education with QTS.

Jo has been looking after my 4yr old twins and will be giving them lots of adventures during the summer holidays this year. She has a really approachable manner with both of my children and they are always happy to see her (even asking when she is coming back after she has left for the day). Time spent is fun and engaging but also educational, helping get them both prepared for the step into 'proper' school from Sept.
Her children are also lovely and have added another dynamic into the mix for my two.
She is great at keeping me informed and plans well in advance activities that are coming up.
Highly recommended nanny that really goes beyond providing simple childcare.
