About Me
I have been a registered childminder since June 2009, graded 'Good' by Ofsted on both of their inspections. I enjoy various activities with the children in my care such as cooking, gardening, arts & crafts, toddler groups and much more.
I am registered to offer Free Entitlement places.
I love being outdoors and try to get the children to the park or other fresh-air places as much as possible. Trips to the library are another favourite and we usually visit once a week.
My children are two boys aged fifteen and thirteen, and my daughter is seven years old. My three are very used to having other children in the house and forming friendships with them.
I thoroughly enjoy childminding and the parents who use my provision tell me that their children like coming here very much.
My premises include a large, secure garden with a dedicated log cabin, a bright, sizeable playroom full of learning resources and comfortable lounge.

My Experience
I have been childminding professionally since 2009, although I have had previous experience of Nannying in the U.K. and abroad as well as volunteer work in Primary Schools in Kent.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered childminder.
NCMA/PACEY qualifed.
Diploma in Homebased Childcare.
Paediatric First Aider.
Fully CRB checked.
British Sign Language level 2

Cathy is awesome, she has been my childminder for just over a year now for my youngest son 4 years and after school my eldest son 8 years.
I cannot find enough words to describe how amazing she is, my son adores her. Cathy takes him on so many adventures to toddler group, music time, tumble time, the library, park, days out, and much more...... and if that is not enough she has the most awe inspiring setting which is so well set up that even when you go to just look around your child will never want to leave. In the setting cathy uses child directed play to teach the little ones about everyday life, educational i.e.phonics, counting, colours, shapes and anything that makes your child School ready. She encourages learning through art, growing vegetables and baking among some of the many activities she achieves. She has exceptional standards, is fair and reliable.
Cathy is a genuinely kind and caring lady and I can say hand on heart I have the deepest trust and respect for her and I feel so lucky that she has been my sons child minder for the last year. If you are after someone you can trust, who is passionate and will give their all, I can assure you that cathy is your lady. She goes up and beyond that level of any other childminder/ childcare setting i’ve experienced or heard about from friends.
