About Me
I am registered with Ofsted (204828) and received an Outstanding grading on my recent inspection (June 2022). I have been childminding since 1999, have two grown up daughters and live in a four bedroom home situated in the lovely village of Bishampton, near Pershore, Worcestershire. Although in a rural area I am easily accessible to Pershore, Evesham, Worcester, Stratford and Redditch. I have a fully enclosed back garden for outside play. I aim to provide a friendly childminding facility in a home setting in which children can thrive and develop into happy and confident young people. All children are encouraged to reach their full potential in a happy, calm environment. I liaise closely with parents and pre-school / school so the child is ideally prepared for moviing on when the time comes. My weekly routine includes regular visits and outings, for example to local toddler groups, libraries and parks. I help and encourage the children to behave in a reasonable way, to have good manners and to have respect for adults, each other and property.
My Experience
I have been child minding full time for 25 years and also run the local toddler group. I have regularly helped out at the local pre-schools and schools.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ 3 in Childcare and have kept up-to-date on all courses regarding childcare, first aid, safeguarding etc.
I intend to continue my professional development by attending as many workshops and courses as possible to keep up-to-date with the latest childcare methods and requirements.
My Availability
My hours of work are 8am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Thursday. Please contact me for availability of spaces.
