Kind, patient and attentive

We are so glad we found someone as professional, kind and attentive as Anna to send our daughter to. Our daughter is very shy and until we sent her to Anna at 11 months old, she had not spent much time with other adults or children (including family) as she was born during lockdown. Anna was always incredibly patient and paid a lot of attention to her personality while taking care of her needs. She also paid attention to our daughter’s appetite and regularly asked us what foods interested her, which we were delighted about! Under her care our daughter’s skills and development took a wonderful leap. She became a very good eater as well and would eat a variety of foods after being introduced to them at Anna’s. She steadily gained weight after months of back-to-back viral illnesses and we credit her eating well at Anna’s for this!

Anna is always happy and lovely to speak to. She is always quick to respond to any queries, regularly sending us photos and updates of all the fun activities they did at hers. We always felt reassured about our daughter’s safety, care and happiness with Anna. She took a lot of pleasure and pride in our daughter’s development, especially as she started to become more confident. As parents it was always such a pleasure to have Anna excitedly tell us about our daughter’s little milestones.

We had to leave Anna after only 8 short months as we had to leave London for work commitments. At every new childcare option we look for in our new home, we use Anna’s childcare as our yardstick. Highly, highly recommend for your most precious cargo!

amazing Anna!

Ana is the first person outside of family who looked after our daughter and we couldn’t have been happier with her. Our daughter started with Ana at 20 months and she flourished under her care. Ana is incredibly kind and has a real gift with young children. She’s responsive and patient and takes the time to get to know each child in her care. Our daughter adores her and in the time she spent with Ana, her verbal skills, social skills, and overall development improved. She became more confident as well and learned so much. Anna is also very communicative with parents and had an excellent settling in system (especially for anxious parents and children new to care outside the home!) Highly, highly recommend.

Excellent and caring childminder

My eldest daughter has been attending Anna’s childminding setting since May 2019. She starting there when she was 11 months and she absolutely loves it. She has flourished in such a caring and fun environment.
Anna is professional and a joy to deal with as a parent. She helps follow routines from sleeping and eating through to supporting potty training.
Anna provides a wonderful array of healthy food and snacks. I have asked for recipes of some favourite meals :)
I will be sending my youngest daughter when she is older and I can’t wait to watch her develop in the same way with a fantastic early years teacher.

a true professional

My son screams every time we are separated, he is now two, i was so anxious about dropping him off for the first time with a childminder... When I dropped him off... he did not cry or even care that i left him. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT!
Ana has such wonderful warm energy and she is a true professional. I trust her 100%

A perfect start for your child

We recently moved away from London and so sadly we had to leave Ana behind. We were always very happy with the care and love she and her assistance provided for our son and he absolutely loves Ana (and her boys!). He had a great relationship with all the children and it felt like a family situation for him when we weren't there. Ana's experience and dedication to child care was invaluable. During the normal difficult times that our son went through, we worked together with Ana to find the best way to help him through it.

They have a well structured day which worked very well for our son. They play and explore, learn and create. I always loved to learn the things that he had learnt - such as songs, actions and animal noises that he would come out with! The setting is welcoming and well resourced, always clean and equipped with all the things your children wish they have at home. We thoroughly recommend Ana to anyone looking for an intimate and personal home away from home for their child when they're at work.

Excellent Childminder

My son is nearly 2 and he spent about 9 months with AnaBarbara. We are moving house to a new area which is the only reason we are very sadly having to leave Ana and find new childcare. Our son loved going to Anas and adjusted very quickly when he started. Ana and her assistant created a very happy and safe environment with plenty or laughter, structure and varied activities. My son ate and slept well there and formed strong relationships with other children. Ana is very professional and experienced at working with young children and I had total confidence that my son was well cared for in all areas of his daily life. When my son went through periods of challenging behavior Ana was excellent at knowing what to do and guided and taught him how to manage his emotions. His behavior very quickly improved and I can say that Ana and her assistant have been an integral part of his development.

Anas home was spotless and very well organized with a large garden and quiet room for sleeping. Weather permitting they did regular trips to the library and park. We will never forget the time that our son spent with Ana and we really believe that Ana has massively contributed to the reason he is a happy, confident and kind little boy. We are very sad to say goodbye and would highly recommend Anas child minding services.

My son was looked after by Anna from aged 1-3 and I couldn’t have asked for a better carer for him while I was working. As a mother herself, Anna really understands things from the parent’s point of view and she became my go to person for advice. She has a warm and caring way with the children and her setting is the perfect home away from home environment. She provides a wide range of activities including daily outings and follows the EYFS curriculum. She also provides a variety of home cooked hot meals for both lunch and dinner. I was very sad when my son’s time with Anna came to an end as he started a school nursery and 8 months after leaving he still talks about ‘Anna’s’ frequently. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Fantastic childminder

My daughter attended to Anna's setting for 3 years and we were very happy with the service she has provided all along. Children are engaged with lots of activities including outings to local playgroups, libraries and of course the nearby Queens Park. Anna is a caring, responsible and reliable person. The setting also comprises a lovely garden and the playroom is well-equipped with toys reflecting the children's interest.

Outstanding childcare, highly recommended

My daughter started going to Anna’s when she was 10 months old and stayed there for 3 years and we could not have asked for a more professional and caring childminder.
Outstanding environment for the little ones, they also have the opportunity to enjoy Queens park nearby and the community playgroups.
We are very thankful to Anna for having taking such great care of our daughter, she really enjoyed the time that she spent there and will miss you very much.

Would highly recommend Ana, she has helped look after my son for the past 2 years. She is caring, reliable, creative and fun my son is very happy and loves her food and loves to play with other kids .
