We honestly couldn’t recommend Geany highly enough. ❤️
I was so apprehensive about using a childminder initially, as leaving your child in someone else’s care is such a huge decision, but from the very beginning I had absolutely no reservations. I trusted her completely, and that is something I will always be incredibly grateful for.
She has been absolutely amazing with our son. She is so patient, kind, caring and understanding, and she has always taken the time to understand him as an individual and support him in exactly the way he needs. She has helped him so much with his language and communication, supported him through his emotions and helped him learn how to regulate himself when things feel overwhelming.
She has also been such a huge support with his potty training, approaching it with so much patience, encouragement and understanding. She never made anything feel like a pressure or a battle and always celebrated his little achievements along the way.
Most importantly, he has been so happy in her care. Her home really became a home away from home for him, and knowing that he was somewhere he felt safe, understood, loved and completely himself meant the absolute world to us.
Geany has gone above and beyond in every possible way. She has been incredibly nurturing, reliable, supportive and thoughtful, and we always felt that she genuinely cared about him rather than simply looking after him. She has given him so much confidence and helped him develop in ways that we will always be grateful for.
Leaving him with her was never something I worried about — I knew he was in the safest and most caring hands. That peace of mind is priceless as a parent.
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more incredible childminder, and although we are so excited for his next chapter, we are incredibly sad to say goodbye. She has been such an important part of his life and ours, and we will always be so grateful for everything she has done for him.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Geany to anyone looking for a childminder. She is truly one in a million, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her. ❤️

Geany
Our daughter has been going to Geany’s for just over 2 years and sadly today had her last day due to starting school soon. When our daughter started with Geany, she was shy and not very confident. Geany has such a calm, loving manner and was able to support our daughter so that she felt happy and secure right from the start.
Geany has a wonderful early years setting. She has a dedicated play room which is so well equipped as well as a large outside garden that is set up with varied activities. They regularly sing, dance, listen to stories, discover what’s in the box, paint, play with play dough, do fine motor skills and much more! It is a child’s heaven!
Being a qualified early years teacher myself I know I am picky (!) however Geany really is such a natural with children and in my opinion outstanding. We feel so fortunate that our daughter got to be with Geany and her team and we would 100% recommend her. If you are fortunate enough that a space comes up I would grab it!
Thank you Geany for being such a special part of our daughters first few years.

Our son has been cared for by Geany since he was 2 years old and he’s now 5. He settled there very happily – not wanting to leave after his first hour left there for introductions! He still loves his time with his ‘Geany’ family, including their family dog.
Geany keeps the kids busy with many fun and educational activities, including outdoor playtime whenever possible (both in her well-equipped garden and in local parks), which we have been really pleased about for our outdoor-loving boy. She loves all of the kids and has a wonderful way of engaging with them, while maintaining gentle and firm boundaries.
Geany has happily accommodated dietary requirements for my son, which has been such a help to us. She prepares all her meals from fresh and the children learn to eat a good variety of nutritious food.
We could not have found a better home-from-home for our son, while we are at work.

My children have been looked after by Geany since my son (8) was 4 and my daughter (4) was 9 months old. She is much more than a childminder to us, she is my kids' second mother. Geany absolutely loves all of the children in her care and her love shines through. My children are always very happy to go to Geany's and still always ask to stay a bit longer when I pick them up.
The meals are always freshly prepared, healthy and very tasty, and she caters for a variety of dietary requirements. Geany encourages the children to try new things, and keeps the firm favourites on the regular menu.
During the day the kids are exposed to a variety of different activities, and when possible they go out to parks, farms etc. Geany goes to great lengths to keep the kids engaged and entertained. One of my daughter's favourites is if they have a rainy day during school holidays and they get to have a movie day, complete with popcorn.
I am so grateful to have met Geany when I did, I honestly don't know what I would do without her. I was able to return to work after maternity leave without any worries about my kids' wellbeing. My daughter often gets annoyed with me on my day off work because she doesn't get to go over to Geany's!

Geany has a gift with children. She is amazingly good and is always patient with them. Our daughter went to Geany a couple of mornings a week from 19 months and our son from 7 weeks! They both love her like a second mother and the setting puts them at ease as it is such a warm and comfortable home. Our children are both incredibly clingy in nature and do not settle very easily in a new environment, yet, Geany managed to work her magic and our little boy even begs to stay when we pick him up in the afternoons! Geany genuinely cares and we think that just makes it so much easier to part with your children knowing they are loved and will be well looked after.

Our little boy went to Geany’s setting since he was 13 month old and stayed until he was 4. We can’t thank Geany enough for her love and care for him and the professional yet personal service she provided us! She was amazing in settling him in and was there every step of the way helping us with all of his ‘big’ steps from self feeding to potty training, to his first day at nursery school. She is loving to all the children, genuinely cares about their wellbeing and development. She apllies gentle yet firm
disciplines and all
children under her care are very happy and well behaved. She cooks nutritious meals and plan everyday into fun, structured time
for the children, with lots of outings when the weather is good. We can’t think of any better childminder. Thanks Geany & team xx
