My little girl has been going to Mamta for nearly 2 years now and without a doubt her growth is down to Mamta . She provides such a comfortable and safe environment for the children whilst also teaching them everything they need to know leading up to school .The children are always so happy being around Mamta , she is always taking them out somewhere and exploring with them outdoors which my little girl loves . She exceeds expectations in every way especially with meal times and interactive play. My
Daughters speech wouldn’t have been how it is now without Mamtas help . She is so lovely and gentle with the children which is all we could ever ask for ! Couldn’t recommend enough ! Thankyou Mamta

Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it. I'm glad to hear, that I have met your expectations. It's my pleasure looking after your lovely daughter.

I can’t express enough how incredibly grateful we are for the support and care my sons have received from Mamta over the past three years. As a parent, entrusting someone with your children is never easy, but from the moment my boys started with Mamta, I knew they were in the best hands possible.
During the years I studied to become a nurse, Mamta was an absolute lifeline. Her flexibility and unwavering support allowed me to focus on my studies and ultimately graduate. I can honestly say that without her, I would never have been able to achieve this milestone. She always went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, offering a level of care that was not only professional but deeply personal and kind.
My boys, who both have ADHD and autism, have always felt completely safe, loved, and understood in her care. She has such a natural ability to connect with them, providing a nurturing environment where they could thrive. The progress they’ve made under her watch is nothing short of remarkable, and I will forever be grateful for the positive impact she’s had on their lives.
As we move on to the next chapter, we are all going to miss her immensely. It’s hard to put into words how much she means to our family. We can never thank her enough for everything she’s done for us, but we will carry the memories of her kindness, patience, and dedication forever. Thank you, Mamta, for being such a wonderful part of our journey! You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Thank you for your kind words, it was my pleasure looking after Ben & Daniel. I'm glad that you are satisfied with my service and I wish all the best for the future. Take care x

I started with Mamta when my baby was 12 weeks old in September 2023.

I had been put off the idea of childminding after my first viewing but when I met Mamta I immediately felt reassured. She appeared so genuine and caring, despite the venue not being entirely to my standards (ie some mold around the terrace door which reduced the air quality, a little unclean...). I found her character to be rare (caring, playful, spritely) and that was most important to me as I wanted my baby to feel loved and stimulated.

Initially, I was giving Mamta up to and well over £1k monthly, and this continued for almost 2 years until my financial situation changed. Her charging was inconsistent but I didn't want to ruin the relationship we had so I 'people-pleased' and tendered to her demands for extra payments whether or not I agreed with them. My sister first became concerned when Mamta began insisting that I stop breastfeeding my baby because it made it more inconvenient for her to feed my baby, but I collected this red flag and many others (for example, her refusal to meet my child's basic nutritional needs according to OFSTED standards despite my multiple polite requests over the years, my baby's higher-end clothing disappearing, family members being heavily involved in the childcare because many of her family live at home despite her assertions otherwise when we signed our contract, getting mad at me when my baby didn't want to go because she could have had the day off despite me having paid for that day...).

Mamta also provides a school pick up and drop off service meaning that she will have an unsafe number of children with her whilst trying to navigate the busy school roads. As much as I could avoid dropping my baby to her before a school run I would do so. Partly to ease the burden on her and partly because I couldn't see how she could confidently safeguard so many children at once through those very busy school roads at their peak times. Though, Mamta often took on more children than allowed. I suppose things were going very well for her because she was able to renovate her house (yes, construction whilst childminding) and was in the process of starting a new business (yes, shopping whilst on duty).

Since September 2025 things have been very different. I'm no longer able to spend like I did and I have been grateful for the free childcare hours from the government though I imagine that this has not been good for business. I have noticed Mamta change in personality and, for the first time since knowing her, my son started asking to stay at home instead of going to Mamta's. She started caring for her partner's grand-nephew and I wonder if her attention was now focused towards her new family member. This would be disappointing and I suppose this might be the reason professional carers are not allowed to care for their own family, due to the special treatment which leaves other children feeling neglected.

Just before Christmas, Mamta had 3 days off sick due to a family emergency. I fully empathise however, I was not reimbursed for the childcare paid for during this period. I didn't ask, and I wouldn't have done so but then Mamta started making more demands for extra payment. Although she claimed to offer a 15minute grace period for late pick ups, she began charging me for 4minutes and 8 minutes lateness. When I didn't respond to her demands due to being unwell - she is aware that I am going through a difficult time - she started sending pictures of my baby to a group chat which I had asked her not to do, due to issues with an abusive ex-partner who is on that group chat. I found this to be exquisitely aggressive and I stepped down from being a people pleaser.

When she disturbed me on a Saturday to give me an ultimatum to pay a ridiculous amount within 12 days, I asked her to breakdown the amount so I could understand how she had reached her figure. Mamta then told me that she did not argue and that she would be terminating the contract with immediate effect. I read this message on a Sunday before a meeting on the Monday, which I then had to cancel. After almost 2.5 years, I became disposable to Mamta because I couldn't keep up her income. Due to the abruptness of her termination and the steep escalation in her demands in the 10-12 days prior, I wonder if another client had approached her for a 5 day contract at her new rate £65/day (I was still on her old rate £50/day and only taking 3 days per week).

Mamta has refused to engage with me since her final message and simply posted some of my baby's items back. After 2.5years and she didn't even say goodbye to my baby. I feel so traumatised by this event and I wonder what effect it has had or will have on my baby.

I feel that she is very manipulative and entirely concerned about money. I would want to warn other parents of this so that they can protect themselves emotionally.

Dear Eno, I'm sorry that you have felt this way. However, no matter how many years we work together, it's really important to maintain a professional relationship between parents and carers. We had a really good 3 years together where I provided consistent quality care for your son. The care only came to an end due to repetitive late pick-ups and payment issues. It was my pleasure looking after your precious child and I wish him all the best for the future.

The best childminder in town. Excellent service and kids loved her, asking us when are they going back to Mamta's House. 😁. I would recommend her always with pleasure. Many thanks for your help.

Thank you for your kind words 😊

Mamta has been my son’s childminder for 3 years, after I removed him from nursery as he was not getting the one-2-one care he needed. Since then Ronnie has flourished in Mamta’s home. Mamta provides patient, structured, fun and most importantly loving care everyday she cares for Ronnie. It would be hard to find anyone more reliable and willing to work with you as a parent to give the best tailored care for your child. She’s supported me countless times with outside hours care and I never worry when my son is with her. Ronnie will be starting school in September and we will both miss seeing Mamta’s smiling face everyday. Thank you Mamta we will stay in touch x

Jude absolutely loves going and we feel reassurances he is in safe hands. Regular updates with photos sent throughout which is lovely to see what he is getting up too. She is amazing. We are very blessed to have found her.

We contacted Mamta in February 2019 to care our 7month old daughter but she was fully booked from May 2019. However she kindly offered us a help for a couple of months until the new child was due to start.

Mamta is a lovely, caring and down to earth woman. We are really thankful for all the support for last couple of Month. She really treated our daughter as a part of the family, which made us feel totally relaxed in regards of care and also our little girl had a lot of fun. She used to send us regular photos throughout the day of what she is doing and notify us when they were out.

We are really gutted that we couldn’t continue to send her to Mamta full time. We highly recommend her to every parent. X

I was very nervous about leaving my baby boy with a child minder but Mamta instantly made me feel at ease. She is a calm, friendly and polite person. Although I've only used her to look after my son whilst I attend appointments she manages to fully engage him in a couple of hours, with activities, walks and lunch too! She has a lovely set up in her house with a room full of toys and learning activities. Most importantly my son really enjoys being in Mamta's care and I can see he is happy and relaxed with her.

As a single parent with the dreaded thought of returning back to work and having to find someone to help take care of my 15 month old son, I never thought it could be this easy.

Mamta is always welcoming, calm and child centred. My son took to her instantly and has never become upset when left with her. Her home is spotless and welcoming for children. And most importantly she provides regular and thoughtful updates whilst my son is in her care.

I would highly recommend Mamta.

My daughter has been looked after by Mamta a couple of days a week for close to a year now. She is always very happy to see Mamta when she comes to pick her up and is excited to go with her. I'm kept updated with plenty of photos during the day and can see all the different activities they are doing, as well as knowing when she is napping and what she has had to eat. My son was also looked after by Mamta before starting school full time earlier this year, and her flexibility and help getting him to nursery was very much appreciated. Mamta is a kind and caring lady, who gives her all to her childminding role. I would thoroughly recommend her.

My son 16 months now has been going to Mamta last few months, and i have to say when Mamta looks after my son I don't worry at all. When i get my son back at the end of the day, he is cleaned feed and most of all he is happy, he is learning lot's and Mamta always keeps me updated throughout the day with pictures, which reassures me he is having great fun. Since he has been with Mamta he has learnt to feed on his own, learnt loads of words.....

I have two boys eldest aged 6 years old and youngest 23 months. With my second child Vinay, I had made a huge decision to return back to work for the second time last year. I put my eldest child Priyesh in a nursery and it just did not work for me, so the second time around I decided on choosing a childminder as I wanted to give my child a homely atmosphere. I did not know of any childminders in the area so I thought of doing some homework and asked around. I asked at the perry beeches baby group where I used to take Vinay and one of the nursery nurses recommended Mamta. The nursery nurse mentioned that Mamta is the most happiest and most smiliest childminder she had seen. I arranged to meet with Mamta and it was the best decision I had ever made. We just clicked and Mamta made every effort to get to know and understand my child. Mamta is the most kindest person I know and she is always willing to go that extra mile to help out. Mamta isn't just a childminder she like a mum to Vinay and the other children she takes care of. Mamta doesn't only take care of my son's day to day needs but she also supports him mentally and emotionally too.
I highly recommend Mamta as a childminder to anyone, she is simply fantastic.

This summer I had an opportunity to work in Birmingham (I live in N. Ireland) and I have a 6 year old son. Without Mamta this would NOT have been possible.

I put an ad on this site looking for childminding in the Perry Barr area and added I was looking for accommodation for the summer. Within a day Mamta had answered my ad and had also sorted me out with accommodation to boot! I had never met her before and yet she proved how efficient and caring she was even at this stage.

Obviously moving to a new area is unsettling for a child and my son also had the added hurdle of meeting a new childminder- I had absolutely nothing to worry about as from day one, Mamta was wonderful- she made my son feel at ease and when i picked him up in the evening, he excitedly told me everything he had done at her house during the day. He was very happy and this made me feel relaxed and at ease.

Mamta came and picked my son up every morning before I went to work which was very convenient for me and she was always punctual and went out of her way to accommodate any unexpected issues which may have occured in work if I had to stay on for extra time. Having a childminder like this, someone who is reliable and flexible, makes a working parent's life SO much easier. I knew that with Mamta looking after my son he was in safe, caring hands.

Today is the last day of my son staying at Mamta's before he returns to N. Ireland to go back to school. He is already talking about how much he will miss Mamta and all his wee friends at her house.

Mamta has been a real godsend! She is a lovely, friendly lady and excellent at her job. She is also a great cook! (thanks for all the curries!!!). I cannot recommend Mamta highly enough. We have had a great summer which was only made possible because of Mamta. Thank you SO much Mamta, for everything.

Mamta has been looking after my two daughters aged 2 and 1 since the start of February this year and i must say putting them into daycare under Mamtas care was and has been the best decision iv made :-)

After having my third child who is now 5months it got extremely busy and very hectic especially with my youngest having colic, they both became very unsettled and their routine became unsteady. Since being in Mamtas care they are now back to their cheeky selves and back into routine.

Mamta has been an amazing childminder and i have continued to keep them in her care due to them both enjoying it so so much, they have developed so much and come home with something new to show me everyday. Mamta has also kept a diary of photos and recorded notes on their development and skills for both my girls.

I highly recommend Mamta as a child minder

Presently Mamta looks after our daughter Danielle who will three years old in March, she have been with Mamta since she was a year old (March 2009). Mamta is a very caring childminder who is very devoted to what she does and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of the kids.

Having used Mamta for over two years I can say as a parent that she is an excellent childminder, very flexible, very understanding and I have no problem recommending her to other parent who want excellent care for their children. Mamta is loving, she puts in time into educating our daughter which to us is extremely important and she takes her to different activities that could help her develop. Our daughter loves being with her, she talks about her all the time and if she is given the chance she will love to stay with Mamta 24hrs.

I have a baby now and I am glad that when he is a little older that I do not have to start looking for a childminder as I have no doubt in my mind that Mamta will do a great job looking after him as she does already with our daughter.

Above all Mamta’s service of looking after our daughter have been great experience and there have been no regret so far.
