Childminder with a big heart.

Michelle was amazing with Joe, her setting is like a home from home (very clean and tidy, with a variety of indoor and outdoor toys). So I knew that Joe would have everything he needed whilst I was at work.

Everyday I would get photos showing me what he was up to whether at the park, music group, feeding the ducks, baking cakes or messy play. Those photos would make my day and I’d feel happy and settled that he was having a great time.

She was always flexible and I knew if there was an emergency, Michelle would be able to either help out or have another childminder joe was familiar with on hand.
It broke my heart when joe had to leave due to relocating to another area as I’d envisaged him there until he was much older. Michelle is a lovely, caring lady who will look after your children very well whilst in her care. I highly recommend her!

Thank you so much

Michelle has been a great childminder for my little girl. She was very welcoming and made Leilani feel part of her family straight away. Which was very comforting being a first time mum and going back to work earlier than I anticipated. Being kept up to date daily with photos especially when they go exploring on the park and messages put my mind at ease. I have loved all the art work that has come especially the Christmas tree decorations.

Also with Michelle giving me advice on any questions that I had and being flexible was great. Which shows she makes time for parents too which I think is fantastic.

Leilani has made a great group of friends that we will be keeping in touch with. I am grateful for the picture books that are given at the end of term she can look back over them to remember her time.

Leilani has grown as a person into a confident, happy, very verbal and active child and I truly believe that is down to Michelle’s setting.

Fantastic Childminder

Michelle has been a fantastic childminder for our little girl. Looking for childcare was a nightmare for the particular needs we have but Michelle sent me a message and I knew there was light at the end of the tunnel. She was very welcoming and Mia clicked straight away which was a huge help being a 1st time Mum and having to return back to work. She always makes the day fun and keeps us updated with pictures so we know what Mia is up to. Shes made a fantastic group of little friends whilst being with Michelle and shes really grown as a person. We love the fact no day is the same and around each event of the year we get a lovely little masterpiece to treasure. Throughout covid we were always kept update and we have never had a worry when Mia was there and felt she was safe in Michelles care. Also being right next to Wollaton Park and seeing pictures of Mia exploring has always been our favourite. Cannot recommend Michelle enough, shes so lovely, loving and caring and always makes time for the parents too. Thank you so much Michelle, thank you for helping Mia grow xx

When our usual before school childcare was suddenly unavailable for our daughter due to coronavirus we really panicked. My husband and I both work for the NHS so not going to work was not an option. Michelle has been our saviour! At very short notice she agreed to look after our daughter each morning and we have been so impressed. Our daughter quickly became very fond of Michelle and I felt really happy leaving her in Michelle’s capable hands. Michelle is clearly an excellent childminder leading to smiling children in a safe environment. We couldn’t be more satisfied with her service and would definitely recommend her. Thank you!

Very Highly Recommend

Our son has been looked after by Michelle for the last 8 years since he was a baby. We chose Michelle because she is kind, caring, flexible and really loves her job. Our son felt secure, safe and happy in Michelle's home playing with a small group of other children. Michelle has a vast array of activities for the children to do at home and is always thinking of new ideas for fun but also takes the children on trips to parks, playgroups and other outdoor spaces.
Michelle uses every opportunity to teach the children new things and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage standards ensuring her care is also educational. We can't recommend Michelle highly enough and thank her enormously for caring for our son like one of her own

Such a relief that our kids settled so quickly

Michelle has been amazing settling our two children (4 and 2 years old) especially in these difficult lockdown circumstances. She’s always keeping them busy with pe with joe wicks, music, jewellery making, science experiments, colouring/painting as well as all her indoor and outdoor toys and taking them on great walks. She’s kept them in their routine and always kept us up to date on their day. Trusting a new person with your children is hard but she made it very easy and the children running in every morning happily was brilliant.

She is quite simply a God-send!

Michelle has been a God-send. Last August, I moved from Saudi Arabia to the UK with my two children as a full time student. My husband and I (who had to stay in Saudi Arabia) were dreading the daunting task of having to look for a childcare for our son Yusuf who was 30 months old at that time. We knew it wasn't easy as we came from a very different cultural background and Yusuf has never been exposed to English language. We had no idea as to where to start the search for the place and people that we would trust to provide a happy and safe care for Yusuf once I started my classes.

At first, we tried a local nursery, which was well recommended and had a good reputation. Unfortunately, our Yusuf spent his mornings in tears with no effort at all from the staff. Although he was always a happy toddler and loved to sing and play, three weeks passed and Yusuf was sad and anxious as never before. That's when I felt horribly guilty and knew that it's not going to work. So, I started to search again.

I found Michelle online and was very impressed with her qualifications. Moreover, I found out that her place was close to Jubilee Campus, which was great for me being a student there. She was very friendly all from the start, and by visiting her place I felt even more confident that I'm making the right decision. However, with Yusuf's first bad experience at the nursery, I wasn't sure about his reaction to staying away from home. To my surprise, he happily settled down from the first day! I was really curious and still am about how she managed to do that. Every time I would drop Yusuf off at Michelle's, I would leave feeling very impressed, satisfied and assured that Yusuf would be safe, well cared for and happy and it made a potentially difficult time pass by with no problems. Michelle has kept a diary for Yusuf, which was full of playtime, happy singing, walks to toddlers groups and lots and lots of fun not only indoor, but also outdoors. Reading Yusuf's diary and looking at his craft work has been the golden time of my busy day ever since.

Yusuf is back in Saudi Arabia now, but still remembers Michelle and the friends he made. He looks at the pictures that she gave him as memory and smiles, telling his dad about all the fun he experienced while he was with Michelle in Nottingham. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks a million.

I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough and would strongly encourage anyone looking for childcare to contact her and have a chat.
