Rubid is a wonderful nanny, I highly recommend her

Rubid looked after my son Toby between May 2020 and August 2021 (from when he was one until he was two), while also looking after his friend who is the same age. She is incredibly warm and kind and Toby has always been very happy with her. In the mornings he runs into Rubid's arms without a backward look. Rubid is very calm, patient and cheerful and she expertly manages looking after more than one child at the same time - she is very good at meeting all of their needs. She plans lots of fun activities like visits to the park, drawing, painting, baking and crafts. She is happy to take the children to group activity sessions but can also easily fill a day with activities at home, like reading, singing, planting things in the garden, making a scarecrow or building towers from Duplo. Toby is always very stimulated and comes home excited to show me his drawings and art work. Rubid is very interactive and talks a lot to the children - Toby has learned to speak at a young age and sings the ABC song taught to him by Rubid. Rubid has also looked after Toby's older sister on many occasions (e.g. during school holidays) - sometimes she has looked after two two-year-olds and two five-year-olds at the same time and she makes it look easy! All of the children absolutely love spending time with Rubid and are excited to do the fun activities she plans. She is very good at thinking of things that will appeal to children of different ages with a range of interests. It was always our plan that Toby would eventually start nursery, but it has been fantastic to have Rubid look after him while he was small. I would highly recommend Rubid to anyone who is looking for a nanny - either for a young child or for an older child, she is an experienced nanny who is great with all of these age groups.
