Andrea has been caring for my daughter since September 2021, understanding all of my needs and worries about leaving her especially since she hadn’t been left with anyone due to lockdowns and the changing environment at home since I was heading back to work after a break. I was a nervous wreck!
Andrea has been fantastic. Not only did my daughter settle quickly but has been incredibly happy, running straight to Andrea for a cuddle as soon as she leaves the car with no problem settling into the routine. My daughters development has been so reassuring to watch as I know that she is stimulated all day long with numerous activities following the curriculum and a range of events throughout the year going the extra mile to make sure the children have fun in a safe environment. What has been so lovely to see over the last couple of years is that my daughter has been able to tell me about all the children and has made a number of friends some her own age and some older children. She takes the children on outings, attends play groups to encourage more socialising and learning and helps poppy explore different healthy foods. This has all played a huge part in my daughters development and language.
Andrea keeps a brilliant record of all the wonderful things that the children do and it is so nice to see my daughter safe and happy.
I have a great relationship with Andrea, feeling very comfortable asking for advice and I know she will tell me if she had any concerns. I cannot recommend Andrea enough

My daughter went to Andrea from the age of 9 months to 4 years, I can not explain into the words how amazing Andrea has been over the years. I was very nervous going back to work and Andrea made me feel a lot more settled and comfortable. My daughter enjoyed everyday at Andrea’s setting and always came home happy and full of stories about her day.
Andrea put me at ease with her kind, trustworthy, professional manner.
I have no hesitation in recommending her to any family seeking childcare.

My daughter attended Andrea’s setting from the age of 2 until 4 years old, before starting primary school. Sending our daughter to Andrea was the best decision we made! Our daughter was always happy and couldn’t wait for her days at Andrea’s! She got to mix with other children and always came out with a big smile on her face!
Andrea helped with our daughter’s development and kept an up to date folder with how she was getting on, including photos of her time at Andrea’s which was lovely to review.
Andrea’s honesty, trustworthiness and flexibility are some of the amazing things we were grateful for.
Andrea’s days are full of fun, creativity and lots of learning which developed our daughter’s communication skills, social skills, routine and structure and becoming school ready.
Andrea’s activities and adventures are so thoughtful and exciting, our daughter always had a magical time!
I would recommend Andrea to any parents in the local area looking for childcare. Andrea really does provide a home from home setting and my daughter now at primary school is always saying she misses Andrea’s house!

Our daughter has been looked after by Andrea for 4yrs and our son for 1yr.
From the moment our daughter started attending, the warmth, care and support Andrea has shown her and now our son - but also us as parents - has been beyond anything we could wish for.
Thanks to Andrea our daughter has learnt a truly incredible amount - communication skills, numbers, shapes, colours, personal care, the list is endless. And our son has progressed so much in such a short time too. Andrea’s lessons are always educational, creative and fun - and inspire me with activities to do at home. They often leave with things they’ve made - from craft projects to baking, and there’s a constant focus on developing all the key skills - something I can track in the comprehensive folder she completes for each child. It’s a lovely insight into the kid’s days but also a comprehensive record of all they are learning and the targets they are aiming to meet.
Beyond academia, Andrea’s adventures outside the home have also allowed our kids to grow in confidence. Andrea promotes positive mental health through little tasks the children do and she teaches them all about cultural celebrations, promoting inclusivity from the off.
Andrea is always there to offer cuddles when the kids needed reassurance and it’s clear she really cares for all the children she looks after.
In addition to the support Andrea gives our kids, she also guides us through the stages of development, offering advice and tips, hugely helping with routines. We can ask Andrea anything but she'll also follow our lead and asks what goals we'd like to set.
They’ve also made great friends at Andrea’s, resulting in play dates outside of Andrea’s care. This has widened their friendship circle - but also ours. We have no local support and moved to the area without knowing anyone so this has greatly helped us as a family feel connected and created a sense of belonging.
I can't recommend Andrea enough. As a family we've all benefitted from her kindness, compassion and experience. She goes beyond all expectations of a childminder. Andrea plays an enormous part in our kid’s lives, from an educational angle but even more importantly to us, Andrea is someone our kids love and greatly admire. We couldn’t ask for more.

My daughter has been going to Andrea’s setting for over a year and we have seen nothing but progression in her development and confidence.
Andrea truly does provide a home from home setting where the children come home with big smiles and lots of stories about their fun packed days.
I would recommend Andrea to any individual looking for a childminder.
During covid, Andrea has kept all of us parents up to date with new guidelines and has been open and transparent about what procedures she has in place to ensure the setting is kept safe.
