My little girl had her last day at Little Humbugs yesterday as she starts school in September (I’m still crying about it)!
I cannot thank Kimmy, Charly and Steve enough for all of the love and care they have given my daughter the last two years.
It was so important to me that my daughter was looked after by someone who would love her as much as we do and we got lucky with Little Humbugs as she received 3 times that love and care from Kimmy, Charly and Steve.
If you are looking for a childminder I highly recommend Little Humbugs, you will not regret sending your child to this lovely family.
My daughter came home with a lovely folder yesterday with all of her photos, arts and crafts, certificates and achievements in and we are so grateful to be able to keep these forever. You can see from all of the photographs how happy each and every child is at Little Humbugs and my daughter would always come home with stories about what her and friends have been doing throughout the day. Poor Kimmy couldn’t even sneeze without my daughter telling me so!
Thank you for everything Kimmy, Charly and Steve. Although we are so sad our time is over with you, we count our lucky stars to have found you all xxx

I cannot praise Little Humbugs enough! I’m just sad that I had not been referred to them when my first child was in nursery as she would have looked after all 3 of my boys over time.
There are so many things to say but I know that a lot is covered in the other reviews I’ve seen here so I’ll be more specific.
Kim and Charly have a brilliant approach to childcare that is warm and loving as though it’s a family home (which it is!) and also structured with routine, rules and education that creates this magical balance that the children adore.
My youngest child is with them right now (age 2) and, despite a slight speech delay, he is confident with numbers to 10, singing the alphabet, recognises all the nursery rhymes and so much more. It wouldn’t matter if he couldn’t yet but it’s just an example of what has made me smile recently.
There are clear boundaries between family time and Little Humbugs time that they stick to so well and I understand now why this is so important for the children to understand the difference and feel secure and grounded wherever they are.
I’ve ended up typing an essay! Oh well. If you get a chance to grab a spot at Little Humbugs then go for it! Spaces fill up fast for a good reason - usually word of mouth referrals!

My LO has been going to Little Humbugs for over 6/7 months now and I can honestly say that it has been one of the best decisions sending her there. She always comes home with a smile on her face. The kids at Little Humbugs are always doing fun and educational activities. Kim, Charly and Steve have the perfect balance going on. Food is prepared fresh daily and the kids are encouraged to participate in all sorts of activities whether it be playing, reading books, painting and colouring or even just having down time days. Sending my LO there I know that she’s getting the right amount of attention as well being encouraged to develop her own independence ready for when she eventually goes to school. If anyone asked I would 100% recommend sending their kids to Little Humbugs. It is definitely the perfect setting where the kids are educationally stimulated, treated as individuals as well as loved and very well looked after.

My little girl has been going to Kim and Charly at Little Humbugs for almost 4 months now. She absolutely loves going to see her friends and talks about them all every day and every weekend she asks ‘I go Kim’s house’ and the disappointment in her face when I say not today tells me she absolutely loves spending time with Kim and Charly!
The most important thing for me when looking for childcare for my daughter was finding someone who would love and look after her whilst I’m at work and as soon as I met Kim I knew my little girl would be both loved and looked after every single day. All the fun activities and arts and crafts are an added bonus!
I’m so grateful to have found Kim and Charly - both two genuinely lovely ladies who I would recommend to anybody looking for childcare for their children. They aren’t just childminders, their super stars! Thank you Kim and Charly xx

6 months ago my son started with Little Humbugs, It’s always daunting departing from your child but Kim and Charley made this experience so easy and I haven’t looked back. I have seen so much progression made in all aspects of developmental stages since him being with Kim and Charley. It’s not like sending him to a child minders but like leaving him with family. Such amazing people in an amazing career both doing amazing jobs (not forgetting Steve)
You deserve the best credit given.

We sent our little boy to Kim and Charley very young and they have just been amazing. We chose them through recommendation and they impressed us the minute we met them. Not only are they always informative and caring. They provide such a wonderful space for the children that is fun, educational and welcoming. Our son has developed so well since going and is wowing us more and more with what he learns from going each day. Could not recommend more!!

Kim and Charlie are so caring, loving and amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. They Care and look after the children like they are their own. Loads to do every day, from arts and crafts to baking, singing and dancing. A real home from home setting.

Kim, Charly and Steve make the children feel so welcome. It’s a true home from home environment and a wouldn’t want to leave my child with anyone else. Kim is always so happy and smily and she really helped my daughter settle in quickly. My daughter loves all the activities she does there and I love seeing the pictures, art and tasting the baking! Kim has lots of little touches like certificates for children saying their own name or learning to walk and she shows a genuine interest in the children. I would certainly recommend little humbugs, 5 stars all round!

As an educational professional i was so wary of who i was going to leave Lucy with.i asked friends for recommendations and researched. I need not have worried. As soon as i met Kim i knew Lucy would be fine. I’d have left her there straight away. A real home from home and so much fun too. Kim and Charly remain in our hearts. Lucy speaks so fondly of her time with them and shes at secondary school now x

Both of my children have been going to Little Humbugs now for a while and I couldn’t of asked for better childminders! Both my 7year old daughter and my 1 year old have both had a brilliant time playing and learning during there time there. It was always a worry of mine that I wanted both children in the same place whilst ensuring my daughter was picked up from school too, but Kim made things very easy and I was always more relaxed knowing they was together at the end of the day!
Charly and Steve were also fantastic. My daughter always loved walking home with Charly from school and my son very much enjoyed Steve’s company.
Fantastic childcare. I would definitely recommend!
