Wouldn’t recommend this setting for younger kids

We were with Amy for about 2.5 months after which she gave us a notice to leave. Sadly our experience wasn’t what we had hoped for and we found it really stressful. Initially it started very positively, however towards the end my daughter was teething a lot (4 molars coming through), which is of course a challenging stage, but we felt there was little understanding or support from Amy. Amy would send numerous stressful texts every week and we were asked to collect my daughter early on several occasions and it was even seen as an issue when my daughter wanted a bit of comfort and to be held.

Although Amy presented herself as experienced childminder, we were surprised by how unsupportive the approach felt and the luck of her knowledge (expecting 1 year old to feed themselves, and to sleep for 2h straight).

We ended up finding a lovely nursery and the experience couldn’t be more different. Overall we definitely wouldn’t recommend Amy.

100% the best!!

I absolutely can not rave about Amy enough!!
Firstly her setting is amazing! Fantastic garden with different areas for children to explore, an inside area especially for the children with lots of toys and things to do. Amy often takes the children on little adventures to the farm, park, woods etc. which they absolutely love!
Amy provides such a loving caring setting which makes everyone feel so much better about leaving their children, especially for the first time!
My daughter has been attending Woodlands since she was 8 months (now 1) and LOVES going! She gets super excited in the car, starts kicking and is desperate to get out of her car seat as soon as we arrive on the drive, jumps straight into Amy's arms... and that's it.. not bothered in the slightest I am off... just wants to get inside and see Amy's daughters and play. She has excelled since starting at Woodlands, her confidence has sky rocketed, both socially and independently, her speech and communication skills a like.
Amy is extremely understanding and very easy to talk to, could not recommend a better childminder!!

Amazing

My daughter's have never had been in any childcare and Amy was just amazing with them. You can see how much she cares and is able to connect with children.
There was even no tears at the second day I dropped her there.
She keeps me posted during the day with photos. She is very professional and has all activities all very well planned for them.
My daughter's felt in love with her and she has their well being always at the top. She has a full folder about their development, my youngest is learning sign language and she started to learn straight away to communicate with her. Just amazing ❤️
An incredible lady that you can trust that she will do the best for your children and that's all you can ask.
Totally recommend her
