Yumbo Daycare is a hidden gem tucked away from the busy road, providing a wonderful and secure location for children. The staff is fantastic, organizing frequent outings and offering a variety of activities such as phonics, Jo Jingles, and Mini Mindfulness. My child loved his time there.

Best staff ever! They are flexible, friendly, experienced and carring. They are very crestive and organise lots of intetesting activities. My son loves go with them on walks, trips to the farm, softplays etc. Children spend lots of time outdoor. My son has grown his confidence and develops his communication skills. I can highly recommend Yumbo Daycare

On first impressions you will be taken back on Yumbo’s location, as I’m sure everyone was but once you get past that you will see it really is a diamond in the rough. Also with its set
back location it really is nice to know that there will be no strange passers by while your little ones are there.
I can’t say enough brilliant and amazing things about Yumbo and the staff. They genuinely care about your child and always have their best interests at heart. With such small and personal settings, I can almost guarantee your child will get far more attention and support at Yumbo than any other nursery you will find, which my wife and myself will agree that it’s advanced our daughter in every area of her short life and has far exceeded our expectations.
Their frequent trips out away from the nursery to Colchester Zoo, Boydells Farm, Southweald Country Park, Braintree Museum or even just a lovely nature walk down the Flitch really are a highlight for my daughter and really gets her excited to go back.
In the time my daughter has been at Yumbo we have not had one single complaint or worry, everything is perfect and I know exactly where our second child will be heading.
You really can’t go wrong with this nursery, ABSOLUTELY 5 STAR!!!!!!!!

My daughter loves this nursery,so do I. Great team and management, always flexible, always happy to help. My daughter was non english speaking child when she started nursery,the team done everything to help her with english language. I will not count how many trips she is had from the nursery including colchester zoo, stick man trail etc. She can not wait to start her forest school. She loves phonics lessons and jo jingles weekly visits. Children spend lots of time outside which she loves. There is no better place to start your child journey then yumbo.

My little boy has been at Yumbo's for 6 months, since he turned 2. He has really grown in confidence since starting and loves all the Yumbo ladies. They're all so kind, thoughtful and caring and I really feel like they genuinely enjoy looking after my son. He has been on loads of trips including the zoo, walks to the park, Tiptree Jam Factory and more, and they send lots of pictures of him doing all sorts of activities in the nursery. They also spend a lot of time in the garden. They celebrate a huge range of holidays with fun and imaginative activities and I've received some lovely homemade gifts. They've also been helping him to work towards his milestones and have been honest about what he needs more support with at home. So they might not have a big shiny building, brand new toys or gourmet catering but children don't need that - they need care, support and fun - which this nursery has oodles of! And it's great value for money too!

We moved back from London and I needed to find a nursery for my little girl, I come across Yumbo and my little girl joined in from the start! She has progressed so quick, all thanks to the caring, understanding and reassuring staff. I'm so pleased I found these guys. My little girl is definitely very happy there too! ☺️

From our first play and stay session where I had to carry my son out over my shoulder, My boy loves being here every session he walks in and dose not look back. it’s a small Nursary with a big heart all the Teachers are fantastic and have done an amazing job over the Pandemic keeping the place COVID-19 Secure and keeping our little ones safe. If your looking for a comfortable environment for your little ones to grow and learn through play and encouragement this really is the place.

Great facilities, lovely location and dedicated staff. Both my children had a wonderful time at Yumbo, learning, having fun and being outdoors. I was particularly pleased with how the team looked after my kids. They developed a lot through play and activities at nursery.

My Son has been going to Yumbo since 2019! He absolutely loves it there, they are always finding different activities to keep the children’s brains stimulated and they are a very outgoing nursery and go out on lots of trips that my son loves! Would highly recommend Yumbo!
