Excellent childminder

My daughter has LOVED attending Iva’s home after school. Iva was the first childminder my younger daughter had without her big sister and she was extremely anxious. After one visit E was excited, very happy in Iva’s home and keen to return.

We have heard all about the many activities, books, games and garden fun they have as well as the amazing home cooked food. E also talks a lot about the most gentle and friendly pets who sit next to her when she reads or plays. Iva is always happy to and does communicate with parents. For me though what I really like is that Iva knows the children in her care. She listens to them and joins them in play, knowing their likes and dislikes.

I would highly recommend Iva’s care for any child

Excellent childminder

My two daughters have been looked after by Iva (as a babysitter, nanny and childminder) over the past 18 months.

The children love going to Iva. My elder daughter is looked after after school in term time and in the holidays. After school she has the chance to burn off energy on the trampoline, play with the other children in the garden, and take part in activities like cooking. She looks forward to her afternoons with Iva and comes home relaxed and happy.

My younger daughter (now 3) has been looked after on an occasional nanny basis and loves Iva, her dog Darcy, the cats and chickens. She cries when we collect her older sister and she doesn’t get the chance to get out of the car and see Iva.

Iva keeps the children busy - she reads them stories, puts out building materials (she has a great supply of different types of blocks), plays board games, and has a wonderful garden with trampoline, climbing frame and sprinkler on a hot day. They bake, dress up, etc.

Iva cooks fresh, healthy meals and makes sure the children eat a balanced diet with her.

I have always found Iva reliable and have no hesitation in recommending her.

My kids are so happy in Iva's home from home

Iva is a lovely, kind and experienced with kids. Her experience from working with kids and as a mum makes her a very calm, reassuring yet assertive childminder. My kids really enjoy going to her and seem very happy and content there. They particularly love Darcy, one of the most childfriendly dogs I've ever come across.

I am so grateful for all the care and support Iva provides for our family and it's great to know the kids can play outside, get some exercise and fresh air to unwind after a day at school and just be kids. Her home is spacious and the toy room is a child's dream.

It's also great to know that they eat a healthy home cooked dinner every day and it's amazing how my kids eat vegetables at Iva they used to refuse at home.

They do lovely activities together, like Christmas decorations or other seasonal activities and my daughter has made some drawings as a birthday present for me, which she is very proud of.

I highly recommend Iva and her lovely home and garden and of course the animals.
