I wanted to share my experience with Daniel as a childminder for my baby.
From the very beginning, I felt a lovely atmosphere in her home — warm, cozy, and creative. She was extremely flexible with my schedule and personal situation, which I appreciated so much as a new mother.
Daniel truly cared for Adam. It was his very first experience being cared for by someone outside of the family, and at first, it was hard for both of us. My heart broke a few times when I had to leave him, but Daniel always reassured me — she would send me photos within minutes, showing that he had already calmed down and was happily playing. Those updates meant the world to me.
She only looks after a small number of children (no more than three, as far as I know), so each child gets plenty of attention. They all play together, and every time I picked Adam up, he was in such a good mood — even better than when I left him!
After just a few visits, he started to wake up excited to go see Daniel. He was about one year and six months old, and it was clear how much he enjoyed being there.
For me, it was incredibly important to leave my child somewhere that feels safe, warm, and loving — and Daniel’s home is exactly that. It’s cozy, beautifully kept, and has a truly artistic, welcoming spirit. Her personality makes all the difference — responsible, kind, creative, and organized. Adam always ate at her place as well :)
I’m deeply grateful that my son had the chance to know someone like Daniel — not only because she took care of him so well, but because she became such a positive presence in his little life.
We’ve since left London, but if we hadn’t, I would have gladly moved closer to her just to have Adam spend more time there. Daniel is truly special — both as a childminder and as a person.

Our son was with Danielle for two years until he moved to nursery recently. He loved Dan-Dan's house, and we were delighted with the care and love Danielle had for him in return. Her home is lovely, and she has created a really warm and nurturing space for the kids. We appreciated the regular updates and pics :-)
Our son learned so much and really blossomed during his time with Danielle. We highly recommend her to any prospective parents.

Danielle looked after our daughter for over a year, and our daughter literally fell in love with her, we are so grateful for all Danielle had done and the love and care she'd given her through much engagement and activities (indoor and outdoor)

After a disheartening settling-in period at a nursery where chaos ruled under so-called child led approaches, it dawned on us that a childminder was a much better fit for our little one. It also twigged that the 15/30 hours were also covered. However, the search for the right person seemed pretty daunting and we were delighted to find Danielle in what felt like a needle in the haystack situation. Immediately on visiting her we noticed that her space was an oasis of calm, and that it was clean, welcoming, and homely. She quickly engaged with our little one whilst simultaneously paying mind to our needs as fretful parents. She struck us as a person who was going to be able to offer us exactly what we were looking for: a nurturing and familial presence, a home away from home for our child. Inevitably, settling-in is a nerve-wracking experience, but Danielle made this a fuss-free transition. Once settled, I can only say that our son has bloomed in Danielle’s care: he clearly enjoys himself with her and the other little children that she looks after, and he is able to benefit from Danielle’s teaching too. She strikes the perfect balance between the educative and the playful, and he often comes back having acquired a few new words, or a new skill that I wouldn’t even have thought to teach him. Really importantly, she is always open to accommodate the constantly changing needs of our son as he evolves and grows, and is equally mindful of our own changing desires in how we want him to be cared for as he changes. She sends us regular fun updates without it feeling like our child is some kind of data set where we need to know about every tiny move he makes, and she quells any anxieties I’ve ever had about how he’s doing emotionally and physically. Our son is also a terrible sleeper, but she has uncomplainingly taken the time to contact nap with him until he was able to grow out of that, and this has had the knock on effect of altering some of those ingrained habits. Ultimately, leaving one’s child with anyone is a leap of faith, and with Danielle we know we can make that leap without worrying whether we’ve done the right thing. I heartily recommend her to any nervous parents out there. She’s great.

Are you looking for a childminder in Greenwich? Count yourself lucky if Danielle is available – stop right here. We had our initial viewing on a weekday morning, and after we saw how comfortable and caring Danielle is with the kids, we knew she's the one.
We were lucky to have Danielle taking care of our little daughter for about half a year. The only reason we had to leave Danielle is that we were moving to another area, and it was heartbreaking.
Danielle was super caring during the settling and gave our daughter as much attention, cuddling, and comfort as she needed to feel secure and loved. Before we knew it, our daughter was anticipating and ready to go to Danielle every day!
We aren't native speakers and don't speak English at home, so we were happy to see our daughter quickly picking up her first English words after spending time with Danielle. Ever since she was surprising us with something new, be it a new song or just a few new words.
As Danielle cooks at home, she was cautious to figure out all our preferences regarding the diet so we felt secure about what our daughter eats at nursery.
Danielle shares priceless photos of your child during the day and gives an update when you pick your child up. We had difficult time teaching our daughter how to throw and catch things, and Danielle has helped with that as well. Her "hold your hands as flower" figure now stays with us.
We will always remember and be grateful for the care Danielle gave to our daughter and for the foundation she laid.
Thank you for the lovely memories, Danielle!

Danielle offered a home from home setting for my daughter, who settled in quickly and was very happy in her care. She is kind, caring and nurturing, and our daughter has thrived in this environment. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Thank you Emily,
I loved caring for Sophie. What’s brilliant sparky little girl. We really do miss her here and the children still talk about her often. Hope you are all enjoying your new life. I look forward to hearing about Sophie’s adventures.
I was quite nervous to leave my two year old son with Danielle as he wasn't used to other people but he really loves going to her house. She offers a great variety of activities and toys for the kids and is really nice to them. Would highly recommend her.
