Outstanding care, goes over and above.

My daughter attended Giggles n Grow from the age of 9 months old until she started school this year (age 4). It’s hard to put into words how incredible Helen and Beth (Helen’s daughter) are. Choosing a childminder can be daunting but with giggles n grow we got the sense that they both do this work because they enjoy it and genuinely care for the children (rather than just for convenience) which made or decision easy. Sending our daughter there was the best decision for her and us! They offer a home from home environment, however there is also structure to the day which helps with school preparedness and they clearly follow the EYF framework which is implemented through play and lots of fun activities. I honestly don’t know how they manage to fit so much into a day! They are often baking, growing vegetables, various crafting activities, they go out exploring nature in the woods, parks, and various local attractions. On top of all that there’s always a home cooked lunch which my daughter loved (apparently Helen’s spaghetti Bolognese is the best!). Above all this environment fosters kindness, friendship, creativity, courage to try new things, good health and happiness. They are also very flexible and I’ll be forever grateful for the times they helped out in moments of need. We received daily diaries of what they’d been doing and also covered practical things like food and toileting which is helpful. Additionally we would receive regular developmental reviews which would highlight my daughters areas of progress and things to work on. We always felt our daughter was in great hands as Helen and Beth genuinely have the children's best interest at the centre of everything they do. You’d be hard pushed to find more caring, professional, dedicated and kind people. One example of how outstanding Helen and Beth are, last Christmas they were unable to take the children to visit Father Christmas because of the covid 19 restrictions so Helen & Beth created the most beautiful grotto in their garden and had a family member dress up as Father Christmas (all with our permission and social distancing), it was truly magical and the children where blown away. I’ll never forget it, It was so special, especially at such a challenging time. They really do go over and above for the children.
My daughter has flourished into a confident, creative and fun loving little girl who bounced into school very happily in September, Helen and Beth have played a huge part in shaping her and we are internally grateful to them. Needless to say we cannot recommend them enough!

Highly recommended - amazing with children

Helen is extremely knowledgeable about children and their development. Helen has a lovely home which provides a safe environment to children. I feel extremely comfortable and relaxed in Helen's presence. I cannot praise Helen highly enough, she is amazing with children and the way in which she interacts with children and encourages them to bring out the best in themselves and maximises their learning opportunities by providing them with the opportunity to learn for themselves through play and activities.

Helen creates a fun environment for children and is aware of the development milestones and how they are progressing. I completely trust Helen 100% with my son and am happy to see him playing in such a happy environment.

Helen is an amazing childminder and any child would be lucky to be looked after by Helen.

Can not recommend highly enough

I have 100% trust and confidence in Helen to look after my little girl who is now 3. Helen is an absolute natural with children and babies. She's been brilliant with my daughter since she was a little baby and Helen has a lovely home and family so I know she is not only safe and well looked after but has the best fun!

Highly Recommend

Helen was my childminder when I was growing up and all I remember is the amazing trips she took us on, the fancy dress plays and she kept all the memories for me that i now have as im older. She now cares for my little girl 2 days a week. She is fantastic, shes adaptable to my work life and always happy to keep her late if needed. She listens to our needs and helps she develop in counting and colours through imaginative and creative play. Her garden is well looked after and very big giving ava lots of room to play. Ava particularly likes helping water the plants and growing the vegetables. She always keeps me up yo date through out the day as well so i never feel im missing out. I cant not recommended Helen enough shes helped bring me up and i couldn't be happier that shes helping bring my little girl up too.
