Highly recommend ! we will miss you Anita!

We have two children (Girl & Boy) that are 15 months apart that have been cared for by Anita on a full-time basis since March 2024.

We delighted with Anita’s care of the children. They both absolutely love their ‘Nannie Anita’
One of the requirements when looking for a full-time childminder – the children having attended Nurseries from ages 0-2 previously – was a person with significant experience. All of the nurseries tended to employ carers that were mostly younger than us. We wanted a Nannie type figure, someone that had far greater experience than ours (which was very limited) –
We felt the children would benefit from someone that wouldn’t take any nonsense from them and offer a stricter environment than they had been used to not only at Nursery but also at home.
Anita has fulfilled this role perfectly – Anita is very warm with the Children (as I have stated, they love her) but I think they also know firmly where the line is and to behave accordingly. As such Anita has contributed largely to them being better behaved children in terms of not only how they respond to Adults but also their behaviour towards each other. (Which being 15 months apart can be extremely challenging at times) We are extremely grateful for this.
Anita keeps the children entertained and busy every day. They attend a Kids Club on Monday mornings. Anita socialises the children with other Childminders’ children locally. They do arts and crafts and bakery. They go to the park and enjoy various varied activities. Every holiday & season (Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, St George’s Day etc .etc.) is celebrated with different crafts which the children bring home for us. They have parties and celebrate special occasions like their Birthdays. They enjoy a varied & healthy diet of home cooked foods.
We are now moving out of the area and we will all be very upset to have to leave Anita’s care. Clearly the most important consideration for all parents is the care provided for their children, especially at such a young and vulnerable age and we couldn’t have been happier that we found Anita. Thank you so much from all of us!

We love Anita!

I tend to never write reviews (too lazy) but I just have to write one for Anita :) We couldn't have found a nicer, more loving childminder who genuinely cares about the children that she looks after. Both of my girls went to Anita for almost 2 years and the adored going to her - they even called her "Nanny" by the end!

On top of that, we as parents, appreciated Anita's quick help and flexibility whenever we needed it - you had the feeling she cared about you as parents as much as the children. Thank you Anita :)

absolutely brilliant

It’s been a pleasure to have had Anita as childminder. Every single day my daughter have learned something new. She is one of the sweetest,caring, loving person I had the pleasure to meet.
I deeply and heartly recommend her, for the passion and the creativity she puts into her everyday teaching routine

Fab childminder

Anita is a wonderful childminder with many years of experience . She offers lots of different types of play which are age / development appropriate and lots of seasonal and engaging activities through out the year. She has a close network or childminding group which further develops my daughters social development and offers a variety of outings as well as her own setting. Also Anita knows how to bring joy to not just my own but other children , in celebrating Easter , Halloween , Christmas ect… where she joins with her network to offer end of term celebrations/ parties .Anita has looked after my 2 daughters from (1 year and 4 year old). I have found Anita to be a trustworthy minder and always has time to listen to parents needs and puts the children first . Anita is customer service focussed and can offer good advice and guidance from her years of experience.

Best childminder in town

Our daughter was at Anita’s from 1 to 2, one of the best choice we’ve made. Miles better than the nurseries for this age in my opinion. A nurturing, caring, family like professional environment. Anita has years and years of experience, good all around including great child development. Our daughter has developed brilliantly at her setting, which made the transfer to a nursery at 2 very easy and smooth. She’ll be her Nana and our family forever.
