Outstanding child minder

Bev looked after both of our children for the best part of two years. She looked after our son, Archie and daughter Florence. I rarely write reviews but as Bev is so exceptional ...

Bev is like part of the family. She treats your children like her own and it felt like my children were going to spend the day with a family member. At every stage of their development Bev made a huge contribution with the activities she undertook, and went over and above with her commitment to our son. Archie and Florence looked forward to their days with Bev and the regular photos and daily records of what they got up to allowed us to feel part of it, and took away the angst of leaving our children in what turned out to be exceptionally capable hands. I would recommend Bev to anybody on every level and feel any child would be lucky to have her. She very quickly got to understand the intricate and differing characters of our children and helped to nurture their respective development. Bev’s house is immaculately tidy and full of different activities and resources that were rotated regularly to keep the children engaged. At every opportunity she took her children out to parks, stay and plays, soft play, farms and even the Christmas markets. Bev provides a lovely variety of home cooked, nutritious food which was really important to us, along with varied healthy snacks during the morning and afternoons. Most importantly I know my children were safe and happy with Bev as they always looked forward to seeing her in the morning, and returned tired and happy each evening.

Outstanding Care Provider

Bev has looked after my, nearly 2 year old, son for 6 months. He absolutely adores Bev and loves going to her house; it is easy to see why. Bev always prepares a range of activities for the children from crafts to playgroups and special days out sometimes. Plus she rotates a wide selection of toys which keep the children engaged. Meals are varied, healthy and home cooked.

After every session a page from the childcare book is completed with photos and info regarding development goals. This is always a pleasure to read and my son loves getting it out to look through the photos while pointing out things that he has enjoyed.

I couldn't recommend Bev more highly. She is extremely professional and I have never felt anything but complete trust in her care of my son. There is nothing more that I could ask for from a childminder - thanks so much for your excellent care Bev! We have been so lucky to find you.

Amazing!!

Bev has looked after both of my children (now 8 and 3) since they were 9 months and 12 months old respectively and until they started at school.

Her structures in the day have been character building and hugely fun for my boys. She does so much with and for them and has taught them some excellent values that make them wonderful boys today and it’s mainly down to her😀

The boys loved spending time with her which made it easier for us and she was just fantastic with keeping us updated with the photos and updates in the diaries of what they were doing every day.

I can’t recommend Bev highly enough. She is amazing and has been instrumental in making my boys who they are today which I can’t thank her enough for.

Excellent service

I left my 3yr old and 1yr old girls with her for 3 days. I was very nervous about leaving them with a childminder as I have never had to leave them before except with family members. Bev made me feel confident in leaving my children with her and when I went to visit before making my decision, seeing her interact with the other children she was minding at the time put my mind at rest that they would be in safe hands.
It was nice to receive a picture collage of both children separately on all 3 days to see what they had been getting up to and was lovely to see them enjoying themselves and doing activities you don't always have time to do with them. Also a sheet of paper with a summary of what they did and had to eat was really lovely to read.

I would definitely recommend Bev all communications to her were answered quickly even when she was looking after the children.
My children especially my eldest always looked forward to going to bed, so she could go back to Bev the next day and in my eyes made me feel happy with my decision.

Fantastic!

Both our sons have been looked after by Bev- our oldest has been with her three days a week for approximately two and a half years, and the younger has been with her for almost a year now. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.

Throughout our frequent contact with Bev it has been clear that she has at all times the safety and wellbeing of the children at the forefront of her mind. We have never doubted that our sons have been in the care of someone with a wealth of experience and expertise, and this is borne out by the quality of the feedback she has provided regularly about our children's behaviour, and the fantastic home cooked food she provides.

Throughout Bev's care of our children we have never had any cause for complaint. In fact we are consistently impressed by her manner with them, and her ability to provide a safe and stimulating environment for their growth and development. This includes trips to mix with other children at playgroups, in parks, and visits to other exciting places.

Above all, we have never felt that sending our children to Bev has been a compromise in any sense, but rather we feel it has been a great benefit to both children. We do not think they could have been in better hands. The incredible care she has provided goes far beyond what one might think of as a 'professional service', and we and the children regard her as one of the family.

We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Outstanding, nurturing, child-focused care

Bev has looked after both of my boys over a period of 6 years. She has been the most amazing child-minder and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her. She provides excellent. nurturing care in a beautiful homely environment. She is very child-focused - responding to the needs and interests of individual children and provides delicious healthy food. She does lots of different activities with the children and they get plenty of time to explore and socialise with others. She also provides daily information (including pictures) on what your child has been doing - which builds up to be a lovely lasting record of your child's early years. I really cannot sing her praises high enough and would be very happy to be contacted for further information.
