My Daughter enjoys her Auntie Skye, you rock!

In taking my daughter to Skyelight childcare, Skye, has been a lovely person to see my daughter with, she (my daughter) calls her Auntie Skye and as her speech developed, my daughter has been able to communicate some of the joys she gets with her play and friends when with Auntie Skye.

We have found that Skye's home is very warm, engaging for little tots and has lots well used space that encourages developmental play. Skye provides home cooked meals, versatile play, i.e. taking the tots to different Soft play and play groups, outside play, interaction with animals, which my daughter always raves about.

Skye provided settling in hours so when my daughter was younger she could climatise to her and this worked well.

As well as her being easy to relate with; Skye has been open to accommodating with specific childcare day arrangement and this human touch is very important and has been received with many many thanks. I have previously asked for more pictures throughout my daughters day as not only did I find it a joy to see her enjoying her little life, it showcased the variety of engagement Skye is happy to do.

Whenever it's possible and makes sense to do, the opportunity will be taken to have my daughter at Skyelight childcare more often as I trust my daughter is in safe hands.

Being able to trust someone with your child, can be a difficult thing when its your first and it's new, I myself have found it presented some uncomfortable feelings which may have made it unclear the expectation, we as parents have. Skye has provided us space to talk things through and more space to talk if required, putting that option out there kindly.

Since having the opportunity for sharing it has allowed good balance of ideologies to meet the childcare wishes had, I found this human touched very important and encouraged the trust I have in Skyelight childcare.

To this I take my hat of to Skye, and I am thankful for her, her work and play and growth development she has aided to my daughter.

Amazing, motherly and caring!

Our son started with Skye at 14 months old, he has been there for 6 months and absolutely loves it! He enjoys the different activities they attend and the play time with the family at end of day. It feels like he is part of the family.

Skye is kind caring and fun, our child absolutely loves her and her family. She is great at settling him when he is upset and always kept us in the know, which is reassuring. Skye keeps us updated on our son's meals, activities and interests. She understands our son's needs and accommodates when needed.

We feel confident that our son is happy, stimulated and cared for and we are very grateful for Skye's care.

Amazing!!!!

It's so lovely to see how my son has built such a close bond with Skye. It's not always easy to find someone who can provide excellent care and understand a child's needs. It's lovely to see my son's growth and development under her care. It's interesting how my son can be picky eaters at home but become more adventurous with Skye. Skye seems to have a special talent for making mealtime enjoyable. It's also great to hear that my son is building relationships with Skye's children, and I wouldn't want him to be with anyone else.

Like family

Skye has been looking after our baby for the last three months. We truly couldn’t ask for a better experience. We were so nervous initially as had never really left our baby with anyone. From the very first settling in session we were made to feel supported and reassured. Most importantly our baby absolutely loves being with Skye and often cries when we pick her up to take her home! Skye’s whole family treats her like one of their own. Skye has a fabulous rota of toys and they frequently get up go educational activities and visits. Our baby has had a couple of minor health concerns, Skye has been totally flexible and willing to help in any way she can. We get regular updates and communication has been brilliant. We’re thrilled to have found Skye

Caring, Flexible and Excellent services

Skye look after our  son and  is an excellent childminder & provides great activities, outings and fun for all ages. Skye  offers a brilliant service  from home  with lots of love & security.
Our Son is always excited to go to Skye & I would 100% recommend Skye  as a childminder.

Warm, engaging, trusting childcare!!

Not just a childminder, Amazing Superwoman!!

We originally was going to send our 2 year old daughter to nursery as I was finally going back to work, we was very sceptical about doing so and after visiting 14 nurseries we thought we finally found one. We started the settling process but it was awful, they didn’t care enough, didn’t bother to give any feed back about what our daughter had been doing, just took her from us and handed her back to us...we had an awful experience and our daughter was traumatised to the point where we would drive past the nursery and she would cry... I was due to start back at work within a week and still didn’t have any childcare sorted then skye came to our rescue, with just two settling days, our daughter was absolutely fine!! Her warm motherly approach, fun and engaging activities and wonderful range of home cooked food done the trick!! Our daughter absolutely loves going to “Skye’s house”. Sky has always gone above and beyond for our little one, and will always be special to us. We can’t thank her enough.

Excellent child minder for my baby and toddler

I could not recommend Skye more, she provides a really warm and engaging environment for my two boys and they really love going to her.
