Outstanding care, communication, and support

We started sending our youngest to Amelia when she was 11 months old and Amelia had just opened her service in the area. Amelia was incredibly supportive and accommodating during the year and a half our little one was in her care, starting with her attentiveness to helping our child settle in and continuing during parental health issues and everything in between. Amelia is clearly an expert in what she does, and is supported by a brilliant team to give the children who attend the attention and support they need. We have recommended Amelia’s setting to friends and will undoubtedly consider returning in the future should we need to.

Wonderful childminder

Our twin girls have now been with Little Cherry Tots for 6 months. The team are really friendly and welcoming, and immediately filled us with confidence during an unsettling time returning to work / starting childcare for the first time. We’ve seen a remarkable difference in their development since joining, and are always amazed when they come home having learnt something new. It’s clear they thrive in an environment with children of different ages. Whilst we still have a few wobbles here and there during drop off, we’re reassured by the regular updates and photos we get. This home from home setting strikes the perfect balance for us as a family, and we’re truly grateful to have found such a caring and dedicated team to look after our girls.

Great Childminder

Our daughter has only been at Little Cherry Tots for a couple of months but she has settled so well. Amelia is always providing us with updates and photos of her, which is lovely to see when we are at work. Her speech has improved so much since being with Amelia. She comes home and tells us what she has done on that day, normally playing with water. The set up at Little Cherry Tots is amazing, our daughter is such an outdoorsy girl and it’s so nice that they get to go out most days, whether it be to the park or for a walk in the woods. Both my partner and I were very anxious finding a childminder but we’re both very happy that we found Amelia ☺️

Amazing child minder

Our son started at little cherry tots just before his first birthday and settled in very quickly, he was always excited to see Amelia every day. His development has flourished and was always encouraged by the setting. He attended the setting for 12 months and we have never had anything to worry or complain about. Amelia and everyone at the setting are so caring and kind. I would always recommend little cherry tots to anyone in the area.

Great childminder

Our daughter absolutely thrived with Amelia. She was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive to our child’s needs. We were always confident she was in safe hands, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful start she gave her.

Wonderful Childminder

We’ve had experience with several childminders over the years due to house moves, and we can honestly say Amelia is by far the best. Our 4-year-old and 2.5-year-old have been with her for the past year and have thrived thanks to the care, attention, and dedication she puts into their learning and development.
Our eldest recently started school, and it’s because of Amelia that we felt completely confident she was ready and would settle in well. Both of our girls have made wonderful friends at her setting, and we couldn’t be happier with the variety of activities and experiences Amelia provides.
We receive daily updates with photos and details of what they’ve been doing, which is so reassuring. The girls are always excited to go in the morning and come home happy and content. Amelia has also been incredibly supportive with milestones like toilet training and dropping naps. Her setting strikes the perfect balance between a warm, home-from-home environment and a space that encourages learning and growth.
We would, and have, recommended Amelia without hesitation.

Positive experience

Amelia has looked after my 4 and 2 year old two days a week for the last year. She is excellent at communicating and sending daily updates. My children are happy to go to her house and have made friends with some of the other children. I would recommend Amelia to other parents looking for a childminder.

Highly knowledgeable and a fantastic childminder

My daughter attended Little Cherry Tots when it first opened. My child has global development delay and awaiting autism diagnosis. Amelia has been the best childminder I could ever asked for. I felt at ease from the first day and my little girl absolutely loved going to Amelia’s. She is non-verbal but I could tell that she enjoyed her days there.

I am very impressed with Amelia’s knowledge and ability to understand my daughter’s special needs. She even set up a sensory room so my little girl could settle on difficult days. Amelia also went above and beyond to help with my child’s communication. I highly recommend Amelia. She is brilliant!
