So Much More Than Just Childcare

From the moment I found Chantel’s setting in November 2023, my whole opinion on childminders completely changed. After having a really bad experience elsewhere, I was considering giving up work to care for my son myself because I’d lost trust and confidence in childcare settings. Finding Chantel honestly changed everything for us.

My son started age 1 and is now 3 almost 4 and absolutely loves going there. He has built such lovely friendships with both the children and staff, and it genuinely feels like a home from home environment. The setting is always spotless, with so much space for the kids to play, grow, explore and just be children.

One of the things I love most is how much they embrace the children’s personalities instead of trying to suppress them. My son is very boisterous and energetic, and they’ve always allowed him the freedom to play, learn and explore in a way that suits him. I’ve seen so much growth in his confidence, social skills and independence since being there.

The experiences they give the children are amazing and go far beyond what I expected from a childcare setting. They really make an effort to expose the children to different cultures, traditions and new experiences. From nature walks, farm trips, soft play, sports days and safari trips, to meals out and holiday celebrations and parties, the children are constantly learning and making memories.

Communication with parents is also incredible. The group chat and photo updates throughout the day are such a lovely touch and always made me feel involved and reassured. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the children and enjoy what they do.

As a parent of a Muslim child, I also really appreciated the halal food options and how inclusive and thoughtful the setting is overall.

I genuinely cannot recommend this setting enough. I’ll honestly be sad when my son leaves for school because he truly loves being there. Without hesitation, I would use this setting again for my second child.

Our extended family - 🥰

If you have a child who struggles with separation or didn't fit into the 'nursery mold,' please look no further. We came to chantels after a traumatic time elsewhere my daughter used to be inconsolable at drop-offs. Today, she is a different child. She is confident, happy, and absolutely adores her childminding family.

The team goes above and beyond to make the environment feel like a second home. The outings they go on are spectacular—they take the children out into the world to learn through their own interests in such a creative way. The communication is fantastic; I’m never left wondering how her day is going. To see my daughter run in with a beaming smile is a testament to the outstanding care and love they provide. They aren't just childminders; they are an extension of our family."

Home from a home

We have been incredibly fortunate to have Chantel and her assistant Stacey as our childminder since our daughter was just four months old. Now, as she grows and thrives, we look back on the past five months with immense gratitude for the care, love, and support they have provided.
From the very first day, Chantel and Stacey created a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment that felt like a second home. Their genuine affection for children is evident in the way they interact with them, always patient, kind, and attentive. Our daughter has blossomed under their care, developing both socially and intellectually through the various activities and plans.
Communication with Chantel has always been seamless. She keeps us informed about our daughter’s daily activities, progress, and any milestones she reaches. The detailed updates and photos she shares reassure us that our daughter is not just well taken care of, but truly happy and engaged.
What sets Chantel apart is her unwavering dedication to each child’s individual needs and her ability to make every child feel special and valued. Her home is always clean, safe, and filled with a variety of toys and books that cater to different developmental stages. She also prioritises outdoor play, which our daughter absolutely loves.
Choosing Chantel and Stacey as our childminders has been one of the best decisions we have made for our family. We have complete peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such capable and loving hands.
