My son started at Kidz Cabin when he was 14 months old and was with Jaquie until just before his 4th birthday when he started at his feeder pre-school.
As a Mum of 2 who's first child was looked after by family I was nervous about leaving my baby. After day one I knew I had nothing to worry about, he was in the best care and having the time of his little life.
The setting is homely and friendly. The care is exceptional, Jaquie has a place in her heart for all the children and she genuinely cares for each and every one of them.
When my son started Pre-school just before his 4th birthday the school were blown away by the level of detail and information I was able to pass over in respect of his Early Years progress. Jacquie keeps a fantastic record of progress for each child and not only do they have fun learning but it is great to be able to pass on the record to future settings so they can quickly gauge where they are up to with their development milestones.
Jaquie and Neil were not just carers for my son, they became family friends, that is how they make everyone feel in their wonderful welcoming environment. I couldn't reccomend Kidz Cabin highly enough and while we miss our time there we have wonderful memories of the experience.

Kids kabin helped shape my children x jacqui is exceptional. Both of my children were minded by her and they progressed so much.they learnt everyday and both enjoyed their time here. The food they were given was fantastic, trips out were a wonderful extra And we completely trusted our children were in the safest hands. I can not stress how much we enjoyed having our children in this wonderful setting. Communication was great and it was always easy to talk to Jacqui about anything to do with the children. Very professional setting and I cried like a baby when my son was ready to leave for school! Always said how excellent childcare here is and always will!

My son started staying with Jacqui when he was 9 months old.
As soon as we walked in for our visit it was clear straight away that this is where we wanted our son to be whilst we were at work. The atmosphere was happy and positive.
Louis left when he was 4 1/2 when he started at school last year. He loved being there and made friends. They did all sorts of indoor and outdoor activities. Jacqui is amazing. Shes so patient and encouraging and focusses on every childs individual needs. I loved how it was a home from home for Louis and the kabin is separate from Jacqui's house, so everything in the kabin is for the children and their wellbeing and safety.
It was sad on his last day, but even now, he still mentions her. If there is a place here, grab it with both hands because you would be hard pushed to find better!

My daughter was with Jacqui from when she was just over 2 until she started school. I can't recommend Kidzkabin enough. Jacqui and her husband are so kind, lovely and caring. Kidzkabin has a lovely cosy atmosphere. My daughter was taken to a lot of activities and places with Jacqui and she still has fond memories.

My son was with Jacqui and her husband Neil from 6 months to school age. As a parent it is so hard to leave your child, but they made me feel at ease to go to work because my son was in such loving and caring hands. They were absolutely amazing, I could not ask for a better childminder. She helped with the most important developmental years of his life and made a massive impact on my son. He never wanted to leave and always wants to visit when we drive by. I cannot even put into words how much I would recommend Jacqui to other parents. Myself and Louie have so many fond memory’s that will stay with us for ever... X

Jacqui is by far the best childminder I have had to look after my son Oliver. When Oliver started at Kidzkabin he was 2 years old. My best friend sent her son to Kidzkabin too so I thought I’d settle Oliver there and see how it goes and my goodness he LOVED IT! He did part time hours with the 15 hours government funding and he settled straight in with no problems. Jacqui made us both feel very welcome and Oliver made new friends instantly. She is very calm, has a great understanding of children and their needs and interests. She was very flexible with her hours, at times when I needed her most she never let me down. She understands. She has children of her own who are now grown up and lovely individuals. The setting was lovely and clean, lovely nutritious meals made for the children every day. All the children had lovely days out to parks, national trusts like Lyme park, to the zoo and not forgetting the lovely surroundings where she is situated. Oliver learnt so much when he was with Jacqui, reading books, practising hand writing, identifying colours, plants, birds etc and she was a massive help when it came to potty training! She is just FAB! She is everything and more you’d hope for in a childminder. I trust her 110%

My son was lucky enough to be looked after by Jacqui from being around 10 months old. As soon as I saw the setting and met Jacqui I knew there was nobody else I would want to leave him with when I returned to work. The setting is so unique and a perfect mix between the personal approach of a childminder but in a setting away from the house to give a small nursery like feel.
Jacqui is absolutely fantastic with children and my son warmed to her straight away. She gave us a really good amount of time to settle in which as a first time mum made it much easier for me. The children play and learn in this wonderful setting and I know they love all of the outside learning time they get too. Jacqui’s communication was always great as well on a daily basis and she would let us know what things they were focussing on for development so that we could do the same at home. As a parent you couldn’t ask for a more caring childminder.
The food provided was always a great variety and I’m sure that’s why my son is such a good eater now! We miss Jacqui greatly and still talk about her and our time with Kidz Kabin a lot.

Both my boys were lucky enough to be cared for from 9 months old by Kidz Kabin. Jacqui’s wonderful set up allowed them to have the dedicated space I wanted but with the homely feel I desired - it’s a perfect hybrid of a private nursery and a Traditional childminder. Both boys thrived in Jacqui’s care. From the first meeting I knew I wanted to send them - all the children there were polite and thoughtful which is a reflection of not only the parents but the work that she puts in to develop their social skills as well as their educational needs. I received updates of progress and informed on what areas she was focusing on so we too could support this at home. I loved the variety of activities provided and the garden set up was superb, safe yet fun and interactive. Above all of this though, I felt like the kids were loved, she truly cares about each child and embraces all the different characters they present. I miss seeing Jacqui - she has been an important part of my children’s life and therefore mine. My children has since left her care but still talk of her fondly showing what a positive impact she has had on us all. I cannot rate her highly enough!
