I found Helen through this website nearly 7 years ago. I met her when I was pregnant with my first child and I wanted my daughter going to a childminder I felt safe and somewhere my daughter would enjoy going. Boy did I get that. Helen is so attentive, caring, funny and supportive. Now my first daughter goes to school but still writes her little notes and does drawings for her. My second daughter currently is under Helen’s care and again, my daughter looks forward to going to spend the day with her. She has helped teach them and helped them grow into beautiful little human beings. Helen isn’t just a childminder, she is also a friend. Someone who can help with my struggles with temper tantrums, eating habits, potty training etc. She is wise beyond her years and you can see the extensive knowledge she has with childcare. Her setting is warm and inviting and many things to do to keep everyone occupied in all age ranges.
I am so glad I contacted her all those years ago and I know my family are too. Absolutely amazing and in a heartbeat I would recommend her for your little ones.

I found helen on this site and im so glad she popped up! Our little boy joined her when he had just turnt one (October 2023), almost a year on and its the best decision we made.
Helen is so helpful, understanding, smiley, happy and loving! I was so worroed about leaving my baby boy but helen put me at ease straight away. After my little boy had his settling in days i could see how much he enjoyed being there and hearing from helen that he settled in so quickly made me so happy. Helen is full of advice and help, i feel like i can turn to helen for help or advice with my little boy. Knowing that helen is there to help him when hes sad or unwell, knowing she will have a cuddle with him and show him attention when needed is so lovely to know.
Helen is very professional and is showing my little boy right from wrong, and also showing him show to play with others too! My little boy has developed so quickly with his talking (basic words), playing nicely, eating and blowing kisses...thats all down to helen encouraging him! If your debating contacting helen, let this be the sign to message her!

Helen has been looking after my little boy Arlo since he was 6 months, He is now 2 years 6 months old. The bond that Arlo and Helen have is beautiful, I am so calm knowing that he has the best care he could. The most important thing for me when Arlo started childcare was that he would be loved and cared for just as he would be at home, hence my reason for choosing a childminder rather than a nursery and Helen goes above and beyond.
Helen has also supported me every step of the way, she is full of knowledge and advice, as a first time mum she is like my personal childcare manual!
Helen is always organising craft activities, trips out to the park/farm/soft play and meeting up with other childminders which is great for introducing Arlo to more friends.
The only review needed is from Arlo, who on arrival every morning shouts "Yay Helen's House"

Helen has been my daughters childminder since 2007, Jasmine started at Helen's as a newborn at just 10 weeks old, she is now 7 years old and still attends on a daily basis.
Helen and Jasmine have a fantastic relationship and a bond which is great.
Helen looks after each child with 100% dedication, care and attention. Every child who attends including my own always runs in her home and is happy to be in the family friendly environment.
Helen is fair with all the children and listens to both the children and parents needs.
I would recommend Helen to anyone who is looking for a professional high quality childminder who will always go that extra mile.
Helen has helped, encouraged and been a big part in my daughter's development and milestones and I honestly couldn't think of anyone better to have done this. Jasmine still attends Helens before and after school and remains very happy and settled.

Helen has been looking after my son for the last year, after a tough decision on whether a nursery or child-minder was best for him (My daughter went to a nursery) . Harry joined Helen when he was 6 months old, and Helen ensured the transition was as smooth as possible, and did not mind the frantic "is he ok" phone calls when I needed re-assurance after a bad morning. In the time Harry has been with Helen, he has developed into a confident, happy, well mannered little boy, and this is down to Helen and the loving nurturing environment she creates for all the children within her care. Helen takes the time to understand each of the children in her care, and is able to immediately notice if something is wrong with them, and is also able to ensure that they will get full enjoyment out of the activities arranged. Harry always has a smile on his face when we approach Helens door and he realises where he is, and is often reluctant to come home at the end of the day. Helen has a wide range of toys for all the children's age groups, and is often at a tots groups, at the park, visiting a farm, or out exploring and collecting things with the children, which later come home as amazing works of art! I have, and will continue to highly recommend Helen to anyone looking for a childminder who will provide a loving caring environment for their child, whilst ensuring the parents wishes are also adhered to.

I first used Helen's childminding services when she looked after my 2 year old twins twice a week to allow me some time with my then baby. She always made them feel at home and facilitated all their needs without hesitation. They often went out on walks, joined in with activities in and around the home and always came home with smiles on their faces. I trusted Helen with them implicitly and was always 100% confident of their well being when they were in her care. When my twins reached pre-school age she then took on my youngest who was one at the time, for one day a week. My youngest was a very clingy baby and both her and I found separating difficult at times. Helen really helped us with this transition and my daughter soon took to Helen and her home and thoroughly enjoyed her time with her! Again all her needs were catered for and she made good friends with the other children Helen cared for at the time. I would and do recommend Helen to everyone as she is so adaptable and willing to assist any child and parent. Her home is clean and child friendly and I have always found the children treat it as a 'home-from-home' and they all have a really special bond with Helen.

Helen has looked after Sophie since she was 9 months old and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for childcare in a loving, caring environment.
Helen ensures that all of the children she looks after have a variety of toys and activities, and takes them out most days to tots groups, singing groups or to the park.
Sophie clearly adores being with Helen, and it is clear that the other children do too. Going back to work after having a first child is a really tough time, but Helen made the transition for both Sophie and I very easy, providing a very reliable and flexible service.

Helen has been taking good care of my little girl Chloe since she was 8 months old and I would happily recommend her to any parent. She is kind, reliable and flexible. Chloe was always well looked after in a nice, warm, hygienic environment, and she would always make sure all the children interact with one another by doing activities and taking them all out. Chloe made new friends and they all play happily together. I never felt for my child's safety or welfare whilst in Helen's care, she is great with her and the other children. Chloe and Helen have formed a strong and loving relationship over the years.
