Just amazing!!!!

Wendy is my child’s childminder, after sending him for a few months I had to unfortunately take him out to put him in a nursery due to my shift pattern changing and Wendy being unable to accommodate the other day. He absolutely hated nursery and was asking me for Wendy, I pulled him out of nursery and changed my shifts to send him back to “his Wendy”. The best thing I ever did, he is coming on so well with his learning.

I receive regular pictures and updates throughout the day showing me how much fun he’s always having and the delicious home cooked meals she’s cooked for him and the other children. I feel as safe and happy sending my son to Wendy as I do my own mum, she is the loveliest person and I am so happy I found her on here.

I would highly recommend Wendy for any childcare to anyone Xx

Amazing

Wendy has been amazing looking after my 2 boys. My youngest was only 8weeks old when Wendy started to look after them. she has been absolutely amazing.
Well at work Wendy would send me update on how both boys was doing, I would get lovely photos of the amazing work they was doing which was fantastic so I didn't have to worry.
Thomas my oldest would even ask if he could see Wendy on days he wasn't due to go, he had such a positive attitude forward her and the bond with both boys was incredible, I couldn't of asked for a better childminder so caring and understanding.

Above and Beyond

Wendy was amazing with my little girl. My little girl went to Wendy when she turned one after having a not so nice experience with a nursery. My little girl instantly settled in and took a shine to Wendy. Wendy was constantly taking the kids on days out and trips here and there. My little girl was always asking to go to Wendy’s when we was at home and even now she constantly asks to see Wendy. I couldn’t recommend Wendy enough to anyone. Thank you for everything you did for my little one Wendy 🤍

Wonderful Wendy

Wendy has been looking after my little boy now since December, and since day one we’ve had no tears! :)
Always happy smiley. Knows where we are every time we pull up outside he gets all excited and tries to get out of car seat before i unstrap him.
Wendy is such a lovely lady and has been very flexible for us! If I need an extra day at last minute every time she’s been able to have him for me! Prices are reasonable compared to some of the others I was looking at before I found Wendy. She always takes the kids out to toddler groups or soft play centres. Has lots of different toys for the children to play with to help stimulate their learning in a clean environment.
Lots of different yummy meals each day too.
Would 1000% recommend, hats off to you Wendy I don’t know how you do it :D

A natural

Placing my daughter in the hands of another person to look after who I didn't really know well, has been the biggest and toughest decision for me yet.
During the pandemic me and my baby had developed a special bond and also most likely separation anxiety. First time round I thought I've got it right, ive found the childminder for us the lady ticked all the right boxes, however my daughter really struggled with her, in that my daughter did not settle not even as time went on. We had no choice to leave as the childminder didn't know what to do with my daughter.
I was at a loss and I thought how would I return to work. I was then recommended Wendy by a friend who's little boy is now 8. I asked my friends little boy before contacting Wendy how did he like Wendy's house. His reply "It was so much fun" with a big smile on his face. I soon made contact with Wendy and explained the situation.
The moment we met Wendy we could see that she was so caring and professional. Wendy reassured us from the very start and with the many years of experience she has, she said we will all get through this. I was already anxious as my time was getting closer to going back to work and the first childminder didn't work out for us.
Well, we are so grateful and lucky to have found Wendy. My daughter settled in very well and soon got over the separation anxiety. We were amazed how quick she trusted Wendy and my anxiety’s soon went away also. I felt reassured that my daughter would be ok and I didn't worry whilst at work.
My daughter would open her arms to Wendy when we dropped her off, and on pick up she would always have a smile on her face. My daughter loved playing with the other children doing arts and crafts and she enjoyed eating Wendy's home cooked meals. My daughter is dairy free and Wendy made it no issue at all and catered to her needs. We got regular updates from Wendy throughout the day. My daughter was happy and developed well with her numbers and colours and talking.Wendy is an amazing childcare provider and I would definitely recommend her. She is a real natural with the children, she is flexible, understanding, positive and encouraging and passionate about her Job

'Grandma Wendy'

Wendy came to our rescue last year in the midst of the Pandemic, at that time we had a 1 year old and a 2 year old. Our previous childminder was expecting a baby so we needed another one. Having already had my children happy in a childminder setting we knew what our expectations were, after reading her profile and reviews, she definitely seemed like someone who would meet our expectations. Wendy quickly replied to my message, called me later that day and we then arranged a visit for the day after to meet my children. From the second we met Wendy she was very, warm, friendly, polite and had a great sense of humour I knew the kids would just love. She provided all her certificates and background checks as well as her latest ofsted report.

Our children have both been going to Wendy for almost a year now, we have never had any tears dropping them off and are both so happy to wave us off and go inside to Wendys. Their speech, social skills and development has all come on leaps and bounds. Wendy makes nutritious healthy meals everyday which they both eat! Wendy also gives them the odd treat which they love telling us about! They are forever baking, doing crafts and exploring Wendys lovely garden of all sorts!

They love Wendy, and call her ‘Wendy woo woo’ or ‘Grandma Wendy’!, we get daily updates of their behaviour, eating habits and toileting along with numerous photos and videos throughout the day. They both enjoy cuddle time with Wendy and she definitely provides a home from home setting. She is personal with each of them and attends to each of their needs individually. Our son is now moving onto preschool, having 2 children so close has meant they comfort in each other and we have found it hard when we separate them, so its now time for them to have some time apart. Our daughter will still be attending Wendys and we are very much looking forward to seeing Wendys new additions and our daughter making even more friends and progressing without her big brother.

If Wendy is someone you are considering, do not hesitate, you will not regret it.

Home from home

I first met Wendy when she worked in nursery and looked after my son 13 years ago, back then I build an instant rapport with Wendy and her approachability and love for the kids was evident from the start.

Having found out years and years later Wendy was a childminder left me with no doubt I wanted my 3rd baby to be cared for by Wendy.

She is just the perfect carer, caters to his needs, nurtures him, and he absolutely loves all her activities and her home made food too!

Wendy is professional, with those most immaculate house but also an amazing place for babies and children with so much to do.

I honestly would not have to my son with any other provider, he loves Wendy, asks about her and is the most exciting boy when he knows he's going to 'Wendy woo woos' I never had this from my other 2 children in nursery settings.

Wendy is an amazing childcare provider and I would recommend her to friends, family and strangers alike. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing childminder!

Wendy has been brilliant with our Daughter! Nothing ever seems too much! Our LG went to Wendy at 8 months and has loved being there. I love the fact she never has too many children and doesn’t do school runs meaning naps and food time won’t be disturbed and they can stick to a nice routine. Wendy makes delicious home cooked food daily and there has been nothing my daughter won’t eat.
Wendy has been externally flexible and helpful around my working pattern and had my LG longer due to my work over running. Nothing seems too much for Wendy! She’s a lovely and bubbly lady and my little girl has always gone to Wendy with open arms when she is dropped off! Lovely lady and I couldn’t recommend enough!

Wendy Woo is fantastic

Its is one of the most important decisions you will ever make when it comes to choosing a new childminder for your child. I know this has before I met Wendy I choose an Ofsted Outstanding local childminder and did not read reviews correctly I just when of the word OFSTED ! these are the most important years for your child and my daughter suffered in development, interactions with people, speech etc. Then I was recommended Wendy, of course at first I had so many worries with my previous choice.

Hand on heart, Wendy has not only turned my daughters development, personality and health around making my daughter into a bright, educated and healthy 4 year old, but by doing this she has turned mine around too.

My daughter has excelled from month to month in her development, and over the past two years Wendy has put 110% effort in ways I don't know how I would have made my daughter she is today by myself.

If you are blessed to get a place with Wendy, I can assure you Wendy is up at 5pm cooking home made food, if you want your child to eat gluten free or vegetarian she will work to your needs. The house and toys are cleaned from top to bottom before you work through that door in a morning. Wendy cares for all her children in the same way and it is like one big family. She knows how to develop your child within play, development and activity, this is done successfully from a child at 3 months old to 4 years old.

My daughter loves Wendy and we consider her now as part of our family, I owe this women everything, every time I look in my daughters eyes I feel privileged that I found a place for my daughter with Wendy, as I am sure she would not be the bright, your lady that she is becoming today.

Even when my daughter goes to school in September we will still be part of Wendy's life as my daughter considers her as mum no 2 ! and loves her very much.

I have a massive respect for this women and let me tell you, Superwomen and Mrs Poppins are in the shadows when compared to Wendy - she is mine and my daughters personal Angel !

If you are lucky enough to get a place for your child with Wendy then I can assure you your child with be loved, healthy, happy and develop into a bright child- good luck parents !!

Wonder Woman

I first meet Wendy when I had my eldest daughter, Sky, in 2010 at local toddler groups. Wendy always came across as loving and caring for the children she was looking after. In 2013 I had my second daughter, Willow, and I had to return to work. I felt guilty for having to return to work as I was able to be a stay at home mum for eldest daughter. However I looked through the Ofsted list for child minders in my area and Wendy was still child minding. Without hesitation I contacted her and arranged a meeting.
On meeting Wendy at her home, my daughters went in and within minutes the girls had found the play room and did not want to leave. This was very re- assuring for me to know that the girls felt happy and safe.
Wendy is fantastic, all the meals that the children eat are freshly pre paired that day. The children are encouraged to try all foods and look forward to their meal times. The arts and crafts are also fantastic and Wendy is in contact with you through out the day by sending picture messages of what your child is doing.
As a mum is makes my day much easier knowing my daughter is very happy in her environment when I am not with her.
Willow has gained so much with being with Wendy. At the age of three her counting is fantastic for her age, she knows her colours and is able to sing a large number of different nursery rhymes on her own. This is all down to Wendy's gentle encouragement and allowing her to develop in their own time.
My eldest daughter, Sky, is also cared for by Wendy in the school holidays and she always looks forward to going. Both Sky and Willow see Wendy as another family member. I could not recommend her highly enough.
