Four years with an incredible childminder

I could sit here and write about how brilliant Becca has been at supporting my daughter's learning and development – helping with letters, numbers, confidence and preparing her for school. And she absolutely has. But in many ways, that feels like what you would naturally hope for from an excellent childminder.
What I will never truly be able to find the words for is the impact Becca has had on my daughter as a person. She started with Becca in September 2022 at just 9 months old, initially for two days a week. We were so impressed by the care, attention and genuine love she received that we jumped at the opportunity for a full-time place.
Since then, Becca has become one of the most important and consistent people in her life. In 2024, our plan had been for her to move on to preschool to experience a larger group setting. However, following the separation of her father and me, we made the decision to postpone that move for a year. During what was undoubtedly a difficult and unsettling time for her, Becca became her rock.
Becca provided stability, comfort and reassurance when she needed it most. She supported her through big emotions and still does to this day navigating a new way of life with co-parents. She encouraged her to talk about her feelings, and helped her understand and empathise with the feelings of others too. The care she provides goes far beyond supervision or education; she genuinely nurtures the children in her care and helps them grow emotionally as well as academically.
What has always stood out to me is how much Becca tailors experiences around the individual child. She goes above and beyond to create opportunities that bring out the very best in them. A perfect example was only last week when my daughter was the only child attending, and rather than simply staying home, Becca took her to Chessington World of Adventures for a special day out. She didn't have to do that, and it would undoubtedly have been easier not to, but that's exactly the kind of person she is. She constantly looks for ways to create magical memories and meaningful experiences for the children she cares for.
The relationship my daughter has built with Becca is incredibly special. It is built on trust, love, respect and security. As a parent, there is no greater reassurance than knowing your child is happy, safe and genuinely loved when they're not with you. Becca has given us that every single day.
I have no doubt that Becca has helped shape the confident, caring and resilient little girl my daughter is becoming, and I will always be grateful for the role she has played in our lives. I truly hope their relationship lasts for many years to come - she is the kind of person you can imagine still being there for life's biggest milestones.
And on a lighter note, if she could ever share the secret of how she gets her to do exactly as she's told and eat every vegetable put in front of her without complaint, I would be forever grateful!

Amazing!

Becca was our son’s child minder from just under a year to just over three years old, and I feel so fortunate to have found her!

As a first time mum having to go back to work, I was incredibly nervous, but from day one I was put at ease and reassured my son was in great care. That very first morning I dropped him off another parent was singing Becca’s praises!

Becca was incredibly reliable, communicative, and flexible, which was invaluable to us over the years. We always felt well informed about our child’s day through regular updates, and it was clear how much thought and attention goes into everything she does for the kids.

Our son was always happy, comfortable, and settled in her care, which gave us complete peace of mind. We also really appreciated how often she took the children out to activities in the local area.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Becca to other families. She provides a caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, happy, and encouraged to thrive, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her support over the years.

Excellent

We could not be happier choosing Becca to look after our son for the past three years.
We were consistently overwhelmed with the love, generosity and care that went into looking after the children.
Our boy matured from a baby, into a delightful, well mannered, happy boy and Becca played a huge contribution to his development.
The kids had so much fun together, they had loads of outdoor play and were taken for regular walks and activities throughout the time there.
Learning, self development and most recently preparing for school was always considered and encouraged with such professionalism.
We were sent photo’s of all the fun and learning on a weekly basis, with Becca filling us in daily.
Nothing ever seemed to be a problem for Becca and she was always so unbelievably calm.
Hopefully Becca will remain part of our son’s and our lives in the future.
We cannot thank her enough for a service that was so friendly and so personal, that went far beyond our expectations.

Wonderful Becca!

We honestly cannot recommend Becca enough! She is absolutely wonderful and knows the children inside out – their personalities, likes and dislikes, and needs – which makes such a difference. Her calm, relaxed nature creates a warm and happy environment where the kids feel safe, loved, and able to thrive.

As parents, she makes our lives so much easier and gives us complete peace of mind, knowing our little ones are not only well cared for but truly understood and cherished. We feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives and honestly couldn’t imagine life without her!

Amazing

Becca has been looking after my little one since he was 9 months old and he’s now 2. My son absolutely adores Becca and her family (Especially’s Becca’s daughter who he plays with endlessly. She’s so caring and kind towards the little ones). He speaks about his daily activities and what they’ve been up to from the minute I pick him up until bedtime.
Becca always sets up a wide range of different activities and outings which my son loves. I know my son is well looked after during the day and if in any doubt I can always message Becca who will instantly reply with pictures from the day.
Thank you so much for being so amazing with Jack. He clearly loves you and enjoys his time in your care :)

Highly recommend

Becca has looked after my daughter since she was 9 months old, Ruby is now 3. I would highly recommend becca to anyone looking for childcare.
Becca has a great set up and resources, my daughter is very happy and content at Becca’s.
I’ve never had one problem or been unhappy about anything, I know my daughter is well cared for and looked after.
