We are extremely pleased with the outstanding care that Flori has provided for our two sons. Our eldest was in her care before starting school, and our youngest has been with her since the age of 18 months. Flori is exceptionally caring and creates a warm, welcoming environment that truly feels like an extension of our family.
She puts a great deal of thought and preparation into each day, offering a wide range of engaging and educational activities. The children particularly enjoy the regular outings to local playgroups and other settings, which provide valuable opportunities for socialisation and new experiences. Our boys have both thrived under her care, and we have complete confidence in the nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment she provides. We highly recommend her to any family seeking high-quality childcare.

We count our blessings every single day that we found Flori. The progress our son Jasper has made under her care has been nothing short of staggering. When we think that he’s only been with her since January 2025, it’s hard to believe how far he’s come — academically, emotionally and socially.
From the very first moment they met, Flori and Jasper shared an instant connection. For a little boy who can sometimes put up barriers, this was nothing short of remarkable. Within minutes he was sitting on her lap, laughing with her, and desperate to spend more time with her. It was as if he had found a kindred spirit. Flori’s kind soul shines through her eyes and radiates from her very being. Jasper saw this. We saw this. And in that moment, we knew he would be getting the very best childcare the area has to offer.
Flori’s setting is a place filled with warmth, understanding and genuine care. She took the time to truly see Jasper. She learnt about his needs, his language learning style (GLP), and his unique strengths (even coming over to our house to receive specialist SALT training). She nurtured him with patience, skill and compassion. Flori’s belief in our son’s abilities has not only helped him flourish, but has also given us, as parents, so much reassurance and hope.
Flori also gave us incredible personal support during a very difficult professional period in our lives. She cared not only for our son, but for our well-being too — offering kindness, empathy and encouragement on the hardest days. Her warmth and positivity are contagious; she’s a genuine ray of sunshine, no matter the weather outside.
Because of Flori, Jasper is thriving. He’s happy, healthy and safe, and his cup is filled to the brim with “Flori time.” Even though he has now started Reception, he still sees Flori during the school holidays — something he looks forward to with absolute joy. We know that the foundations she’s helped him build will stay with him for years to come.
Thank you, Flori, for your dedication, honesty and boundless kindness. You have been a rock for our little boy, and for us too.
This isn’t goodbye.

I can say my daughter had an amazing time with Flori. She started at 1 year plus and it was her first experience but she was able to settle quickly and happily to. Priscilla had a lot of beautiful fun memories and this can be attested to Flori's expertise as a child minder. She learnt a lot of new words, know her letters and alphabets too at under 2. Flori is gentle and kind, a great personalty for her job which stands her out. I definitely recommend Florentina.

We feel so lucky and privileged to have Flori as our son's childcare provider.
Flori have given our boy a safe and stimulating environment to grow, learn, develop, play, interact and just be a happy boy. Her amazing approach with kids and innovative ways to learning is dynamic, fun, messy, jolly and gives the children opportunity to explore and play with textures, colours, shapes, sounds, lights.
Flori was really great at organizing daily activities for the kids including educational games, puzzles, and varied activities. She also organized daily outings to the park and library as well as providing the children with lots of outside time in her lovely garden.
Flori has a beautiful home which is the perfect environment for children to learn and feel comfortable, she really made our son feel like part of her family.
Flori has such a loving and caring nature, our son settled very quickly with her and we never worried about him while he was in her care. Communication from Flori was brilliant, she sent us daily updates and photos, and was always happy to chat to us about how he was doing and offer tips and advice to encourage his development.
Our son really thrived when he was with Flori, she provided fantastic care including great food, a warm loving environment, and age-appropriate toys and activities. Flori ensured that the children were engaged and focused on a wide variety of activities which really furthered our son's development in such a way that he always had fun and loved being with her.
Flori is very reliable and efficient, she never let us down and every day opened the door with a big smile! Honestly can’t recommend Flori enough! Thank you for everything you done for us as a family! X

Flori has been a bless for us! She took care of my daughter since she was a baby (8 months old), until recently, when she is due to start school.
Flori is very approachable, kind, gentle, creative, reliable, devoted and my daughter loves her. She is a resourceful woman, preparing all type of activities for children in a safe enviroment, trips to the park or library, cooking, baking, crafting, discovering the nature. She always treated my child with respect as an individual, and she has been a great support for my daughter's physical and emotional development.
She has been like Mum 2# for my daughter 😍 and I highly recommed her.
We are all looking forward for the half terms, when my daughter will return to her setting.

Flori welcomed my little one with open arms during a difficult time in our lives when I had to be constantly available for my older child.
She provides a wholesome and ‘gentle parenting’ style setting with a beautiful and big dedicated space in her home and huge child friendly garden.
She is highly qualified in her role and I trust her completely to care for and educate my child. Flori has always treated my child with respect as an individual person - not just a kid.
She is a whizz in the kitchen and cooks everything for the children from scratch. They do such lovely activities together including cooking, baking, crafts and trips to the library and park.
Her updates and reports on my little one’s progress have been very reassuring and he has developed in leaps and bounds while in Flori’s care.
Flori is more than a childminder - she is a true teacher who deeply cares for the children she looks after.
I would gladly recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for their ‘Flori Poppins’.

We couldn’t be more happier with Flori. We’re pleased with the level of care our daughter has experienced at Flori. Flori is given extremely friendly, kind, safe, excellent learning environment and welcoming child minding service. Flori is very professional in her care. We were extremely impressed by how clean and tidy the place are, Flori is very healthy and safety conscious, her documentation is well organised. Flori’ll invest all her heart and time on each children regardless. She takes excellent and great care of children’s physical, emotional and psychological development.
We couldn’t recommend highly enough as Flori and her service is just amazing!

As the other reviews had mentioned, florentina is amazing , she certainly knows how to take care of children and develop their learning in so many ways . I'm so glad we found her , my daughter adores her .
There are plenty of activities inside and out , there is so much choice for the children . With trips to the library or walks in the parks discovering nature .
Florentina always provides a delicious home cooked healthy meal for each meal time . Which my daughter has enjoyed and has tried new tastes .
With reports on the my child's activities communicated daily
Florentina is family to us .

Florentina is amazing 🤩!
She is a resourceful creative, patient and reliable lady.
My daughter started to go to her a month ago when she was 8 months and a half, and I have noticed a huge development in her milestones.
Florentina also encourages healthy eating, hence she cooks every day every single meal that she offers to the children.
She really knows how to take care, entertain and meet the needs of the children in her care - very devoted 🤗.
Totally recommend her!

Florentina is an amazing woman.
She is very careful, creative and thoughtful. She puts 110% into everything she does. I am grateful that I’ve found her, because she teaches my daughter new things, does lots of craft activities, takes her to parks, and the library. She goes above and beyond to cater for the child. Highly recommend her to other parents. :)
