Not only does Ofsted think Out and About Childcare is OUTSTANDING we do too! They provide a calm, nurturing environment where children flourish and develop. They’re kind, caring, polite and compassionate; going above and beyond their duty everyday in supporting all of the children at every different stage of development. Updating the EYFS progress tracker online and offering valuable next steps for the child’s progression. The children go on many trips exploring and learning at every opportunity, a walk in the park means learning about nature, road safety and splashing in puddles! Different cultures and traditions are embraced through numerous activities. Both Teresa and Vicky support the children wonderfully with results clear in their faces; parents are updated daily verbally and with an online diary and photos.

My daughter has been attending Teresa’s Out and About Childminding for years and I couldn’t be happier!
There is a real sense of community created at Teresa’s, between the team, children and parents. Genuine friendships are created which last. This greatly helped my daughter during her early years at school and my daughter adores the team and looks forward to spending time with them.
My child’s social development is also positively influenced by the varied ethos and values instilled by Teresa and her team, as shown through the holistic care given, the attitude of the team and through experiences provided to my child.
Every day is a positive learning adventure. They are always creating memories and sharing experiences, wether this is at the facility or on one of the many trips they take.
The team are on it. Online communication systems are updated in a timely fashion, letting you know (with pictures) what they’ve been up to, as are invoices and newsletters. They’re always so approachable and accommodating and when asked offer great advise and tips that can only be gained from someone who has years and years of childcare experience.
I highly recommend Teresa and Out and About Childcare. I genuinely feel that during my child’s time with Teresa, and her team, my daughter is safe and happy.

She is exceptional and did really well on taking care of my 5 year old kid. I'm so lucky I got her to watch my kid for 5 days and my kid was having a great, memorable and enjoyable day. My kid was been to places he didn't used to go and tried so many things like feeding animals, playing with them, exploring places, etc. I'm so confident that he could watch over my kid even though they keep travelling and she has so many children to watch for as she is responsible and amazing. She communicates and responded to you constantly and provided such amazing pictures on what happen on the day.
So highly recommended and will surely contact her if in case I need again a childminder in the future.

Teresa is very professional and friendly person.
My family had luck to find her. She looked after my son Leon since he was 1 until now when he starts school. He absolutely loved being with Teresa,her team and all the children. He learned a lot and made huge development progress and what's the most important always was happy and had fun. As he is bilingual child,Teresa always supported his language development and now he speak well two languages.
Teresa takes children out every day and make their childhood just amazing.
As a parent my cooperation with Teresa was always great. She always was helpful and accomodated all my wishes. She helped me a lot and I will never forget that. I really appreaciate what she and her girls made for my son and us parents.
I am also childminder and teacher,so I know how difficult this job is and I am full of respect for Teresa.
I can only learn from her and I hope one day I will be at least half as good as she is :)
We still will be in touch with her and her setting as we want our son to be still little part of it.

My little May joined Out and About since she was about 8 month old baby and she enjoyed very much the last couple of years from the first day until now. I have temporarily reduced childcare hours due to personal circumstances but May always asks “are we going to Teresa’s?!” I feel very reassured sending May to Teresa’s as I know children are always well looked after there - from their well-being to physical and emotional development.
I like the fact that May can play alongside other friends there as well as go out to different places to explore new things regularly, which is very valuable and important to all children.
I would not feel comfortable sending May to any other settings and would definitely recommend Out and About 💯% to all my friends and family.

Teresa is the most wonderful childminder you could ever hope for. She has looked after both our girls for the last couple of years, the older one is off to school in September but my younger daughter will remain in her care for the next two years.
She regularly goes well above and beyond the call of duty, is wonderful with the children and it's often a difficult task to drag my daughters home at the end of the day as they've had such a good time. Their personal and social development in their time with Teresa is obvious, and Teresa's 'outstanding' Ofsted report (at the first time of asking, a rare outcome for a first assessment I am told) is fully deserved. Her current assistant, Lucia, is similarly excellent.
Very much recommended (in fact we drive for half an hour each way every day to take the children over to her; we could get someone much closer to home but when you've got excellent childcare, we're reluctant to move the children anywhere else)

Teresa is an exceptional childminder who is totally dedicated to her job and the children she cares for. She’s an absolute natural, nothing fazes her and her love for life is infectious.
My children have progressed so much in her care, in all areas of their development, but especially in their self-confidence. They have experienced so much from being with her, whether that be through her daily planned activities, trips out, socialising with children of different ages and just through her allowing them to investigate anything, safely in her environment. My children come bursting through the door at the end of the day, wearing big smiles eager to tell me everything they’ve been doing that day.
As a parent it takes a great deal of trust leaving your children under someone else’s care and supervision. So it was important for me to find the right person for my children. Teresa was recommended to me I found she was approachable and very quickly made me feel at ease. She has been an absolute godsend not just to my children, but to me too. She has so much knowledge and childcare expertise, I’ve often spoken to her with random questions, “ Got any advice on ......?” She is totally non-judgemental and will do everything she can to support the children and you. Always willing and offering to go that extra mile.
She is a brilliant role model to children and adults alike. We will be so sad when it’s our time to say goodbye and move on to pre-school.

We have been using Teresa for a year now and she us brilliant! Our little boy met her once and instantly felt comfortable & at home. She lives up to her name 'out & about' - they are always out doing things & visiting places, plenty of non stop activities. All individual needs are catered for & met. She always seems to know about inset days and strike days before we do & will contact us to see if childcare is required.
Our little boy really enjoys going to Teresa's he has so much fun & we know he is in really good hands.

Teresa has looked after my daughter on many occasions for me over the last 7 years,
My Daughter has been extremely happy with Teresa. Teresa provides a safe, caring environment and the opportunities and activities she has experienced whilst in her care have been stimulating, varied, educational, fun and always happy.
Teresa is a very warm, caring person who relates very well to the children in her care and who always puts the child at the centre of everything she does.
My Daughter has always loved being looked after Teresa and I would gladly recommend Teresa to anyone looking for a child minder.
