BRILLIANT CHILDMINDER

Kirsty has looked after my little girl since she was very young she come on alot in a short space of time kirsty has patience and communicates well. My girl is now 6 and loves going round 1 day a week after school.
Overall very happy and lovely setting and very clean.

Excellent childminder

My daughter has been with Kirsty since she was 7 months old (she’s now 3). She absolutely loves Kirsty and going there. Kirsty is very reliable, communicative and goes out of her way to help us. She involves the children in her care in fun activities and crafts and my daughter has come on really well. We’ll be very sad when it’s time for our daughter to go to school. I would, and have, recommend Kirsty.

We had issues

Unfortunately I had to withdraw my child from Kristy’s setting due to a dispute and my child clearly not enjoying his time with her. This led to a very drawn out and somewhat acrimonious process before an end-of-contract agreement was finally reached, with behaviours from Kirsty which I would not expect from a childcare professional. My child has progressed much faster and is much happier since we left Kirsty’s care and whilst there are positive reviews and hopefully my experience is a one-off, I would urge prospective parents to proceed with caution.

This is not true i raised my concerns and this parent didn't like hearing it, I have very good relationships with the children and parents and the children have been here from a very young age, book a visit and see what you think, i have worked in childcare for many years.

Brilliant

My 2 year old started with Kirsty about a year ago and absolutely loves it. Kirsty worked hard to ensure she settled in well. My 4 year old now attends too and has the best time. Kirsty provides fun, interesting activities tailored to my children's interests! Kirsty does pick up and drop off for my 4 year old school day and also joins up with other local childminders for the children's socialisation. Absolutely fantastic professional service, we would be lost without her! The setting is also a home from home which has a dedicated play room and is always clean and tidy. I can go to work not having to worry about anything. 5 stars

The best childminder

My daughter has been going to kirsty’s for two and half years. Right from the word go my daughters settling in process was smooth and an easy transition for her being around me 24/7 to being with and somewhere new.
My daughters days have been packed with adventures, play and learning. My daughter has had to a real struggle with understanding danger and kirsty has not only taught my daughter how to hold an adults hand but the word stop to which has now made outings with the family easier.
Kirsty has been fully supportive when it comes to her learning journey and has taken all my concerns on board, also attending appointments with me for her speech delay which as a parent we always have questions for professionals but with kirsty’s experience and knowledge she was there to ask the questions I didn’t even think off.
My daughters time with kirsty is coming to an end shortly as she’s starting reception soon and myself and my daughter are very emotional about. But kirsty has been on hand to help my daughter prepare for her translation ahead.
I fully recommend kirsty for all your children. Not only has kirsty been the best thing for my daughter she is now a life long friend.

Fantastic

Knowing that my daughter is in a setting which offers free flow play where it is calming and collective. My daughter has been here 8 months now and her progress is amazing, although at the moment my daughter is non verbal, Kirsty has been able to help her speech no ends with special one to one time and encouragement to play others not just within the setting but outside too her confidence has grown so much. From where she was to where she is now is a huge difference in 8 months. Kirsty has always made myself feel relaxed which has helped my daughter settle in perfectly. Kirsty and myself have a lovely bond too which makes a difference compared to some childminders kirsty doesn’t just see this as a business but a foundation in children’s early years learning. Definitely would recommend to any parent .
