I am happy to recommend sue cannings

Mrs cannings has looked after my younger 2 children since 2007: my son from age 6 months and my daughter from when she was 6 years old.

I have been very happy with sue’s care of my children. They are safe and well looked after at all times.

I am especially pleased that my children have bonded with sue so closely; she always takes the time to get to know each child and their interests and caters for these.she is always affectionate and cheerful towards them so they look forward to being in her company. I feel it is a ‘home from home’ for them as sue strives to make them welcome into her family and her home. My children feel like they can trust her like a member of our family.

Sue’s own children are a credit to her.; they fully interact with all minded children in a very positive way, and are like extra brothers and sisters! All the children are treated equally and there is no favouritism of any kind. Children of different ages have their needs met equally too, and all the older children are taught to be very kind and helpful to the younger ones.

Sue is extremely kind to any child who is upset or hurt, and has a firm, appropriate discipline in place for the little misdemeanours that happen time to time in any group of children. If you see sue and her mindees out and about you will see their good behaviour and kindness to each other.

Sue’s facilities include a lovely big garden to play in, lots of trips out including to toddlers group which my youngest really enjoyed.

Sue’s record-keeping and routines are very secure and she communicates fully with me about how the children have been. I especially value the folder of photos and daily notebook of comments which I had not had with my previous childminders.

I am happy to recommend sue cannings as a childminder unreservedly.

Massively recommend

I massively recommend sue cannings, my little boy has been with her since about 12 weeks. He adores her and is now 13 months. He is confident, social and very happy which makes me happy to crack on with work knowing he is in safe hands.
