A Happy Place to Grow

My son started with Soonu when he was just 14 months old and stayed with her until he was 4 years old, so Soonu and her team have been a big part of his early childhood.

From the beginning, what stood out to me was the personal care and attention he received. Even though the children have the opportunity to play and interact together, he always received the individual one-to-one attention he needed. Soonu, Harj and Damini really take the time to understand each child – their personality, routine, likes and dislikes and that makes such a difference.

The whole setting has a lovely balance. It has the warmth and comfort of a home, but also the structure, activities and social interaction you would expect from a good nursery. The children have organised activities, learning, playtime and regular outings to parks and around the local community, so there is always something happening.

Another thing I really appreciated was the home-cooked food. Knowing he was having fresh, proper meals and snacks every day was one less thing to think about as a working parent. The regular photos and updates were also lovely because we could see what he had been doing and still feel part of his day.

Soonu's place genuinely became a home away from home for him. It never felt like we were simply leaving him at childcare, it felt like we were leaving him with people who knew him and genuinely cared about him.

Thank you Soonu and team for all the love, care, patience and attention you have given him over the years. You have been such an important part of his early years, and we will always be grateful. I would happily recommend you to any parent looking for a warm, caring and dependable place for their little one.

Home from home

Soonu, Harj and Damini provide a wonderful environment for the children. Both my daughters have been looked after Soonu and team who provide a warm and loving home from home environment. They have structured day with organised activities which follows the early years framework. I love that they work like a team which means they operate a setting like a small nursery and my daughters gets to interact with a larger group of children and 3 different grown ups. They take the children out regularly to the park, cafes and explore the local community. Warm home cooked lunch and snacks are a bonus and one less thing for me to worry about. We have no family near us and Soonu, Harj and Damini have been our village when we’ve needed them. Thank you for everything you’ve all done for both my girls.

Fantastic

Soonu has provided my boy with a real nuturing amd warm enviornment. The whole team were so caring compassionate through out and really focussed and supported when he was having trouble settling in. He is so happy to go there and they really go the extra mile to make wonderful memories for the children. The food is all fresh and pictures are provided regularly so you can be a part of your childrens day and actually know what they have got up to. I would not dream of sending my children any where else and my daughter will certainly be going to Soonus also. Thank you so much for giving our little one wonderful time

Very friendly and a safe atmosphere.

We highly recommend Soonu to anyone looking for childcare. She looked after our child from the age of 1 to 5, and gave my wife and me the confidence to return to work after maternity leave, knowing our child was in good hands. Our child grew in confidence and independence while in her care, and we are very grateful for everything she did for our family.

A fantastic, caring, and dependable (team of 3!)

We couldn’t be happier with the care our son receives here. The setting feels just like a warm, welcoming home, which made settling in so easy for him and gave us complete peace of mind from day one. He is always happy, engaged, and genuinely cared for.

They went over and beyond to make settling in work and as smooth as possible - I had international work travel, my husband started a new job and the our son was having his first weeks at full time childcare!

One of the biggest strengths is the setup. Soonu operates in a trio childminder operation! Because three of them work together as a team, we have never had to scramble for childcare due to sick days, appointments, or personal time off. There is always familiar, reliable cover in place, which provides incredible consistency for our son and total peace of mind for us as working parents.
They provide the warmth and individual attention of a traditional childminder alongside the reliability and structure of a nursery. We are so grateful for everything they do and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Lovely childminders

My son attended this setting from 9 months old until he started school, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care he received. All childminders and soonu house were all so caring and welcoming, and he settled in very quickly. We always felt comfortable and confident leaving him in their care. We’re very grateful for everything they did for him and would highly recommend them.

Absolutely love!!

Thanks Soonu for giving such a warm, nurturing and safe environment for my both daughters. I highly recommend Soonu and ' Happy Hours'. My both daughters have gone to Soonu in their growing years . One is now 16 and other one is 7 ( she still goes to Soonu) and she has always nurtured them with care and love which is so important and peaceful for a working mother. Food provided is very good and home made and children are involved in activities. Without her support it could not have been an easier journey. Thanks Soonu, Harjit and Damini for being such amazing aunties for my daughters.

Brilliant Childminder

My little girl absolutely adored Soonu as her carer. Soonu was very caring and provided a perfect home setting for my little one. She is a real treasure and is highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and caring environment for their kids.
