Julie has been absolutely fantastic looking after Annabelle over the last year or so and has been hugely instrumental in her development. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed herself and settled in exceedingly easy.
Annabelle’s social skills have improved massively through Julie taking her to various social groups and other outings and has learnt to interact well with other children and her peers, and through this seems to fit in well in any environment. She has enjoyed all her arts and crafts that she does with Julie. The seasonal elements that Julie does with the children are just so thoughtful and fantastic and it has certainly established Annabelle's creative flair!
I wholeheartedly recommend Julie as a childminder, and cannot thank her enough for all that she has done. I genuinely do not know what I would have done without her. She will be missed.

Julie is an absolute gem of a childminder. My daughter went to Julie when she was 1 until 3 when we sadly moved out of the area. If I could’ve picked Julie up and taken her with us when we moved I would have!
Julie is an amazing childminder, my daughter would be so excited to go to Julie, and would show me all the things she had done and places she had been and what she had got up to with Julie.
My daughter came on leaps and bounds while in Julie’s care and it’s all down to Julie!
Two years on from us moving we are still in touch and my daughter still talks about her and misses her - I honestly cannot recommend Julie enough!

Julie is amazing! She had to step in at the last minute as our circumstances changed. She is a super star.
Our son settled in quickly and couldn’t wait to go back and see Julie the following day. She has a large setting with a lovely playroom and lots of garden toys - he really enjoyed being there.
They did all sorts of arts and crafts and activities but the best bit were the trips; she took the children to the local bird sanctuary, a farm and for daily walks. Our son loved exploring and seeing the different kinds of trees, birds, animals and insects. Julie takes the children there in all the seasons of the year. Our son loves being outdoors so he was always excited to tell us what he had been up to that day.
Julie continued sending photos of our son’s activities via WhatsApp and sent a summary email at the end of the week of what he had been up to.
If our son wasn’t going to nursery (close to our work) then we would happily have kept him there. Definitely recommend!

This lady is the gem of the ocean! Julie is so professional and organised. My grandson absolutely adores her not once have I had tears at drop off not even on day 1!!
I work in a job where I needed a childminder who could on occasions be accommodating Julie has met my every need.

Julie has been having my son 2 days a week now since January 2017. I love her as does my 14 month old son.
Julie communicates well on all matters and is professional in her paperwork. Julie is very creative with the activities She leads at her home with my son. And the are very appropriate to what's going on that week etc... (Fab picture received for Chinese New Year and my valentines card made me cry it was so lovely). She also takes my son to various groups, which he now loves (he is a shy boy, so took him a while)
I am thrilled how well the arrangement is going. And couldn't wish for a better childminder.
He adores smokey (Julie's cat) who is ever so good with children and allows my son to play and stoke him (and even follow him around).
Can't recommend Julie enough.

Julie Cared for my 2 daughters, 2 days a week, for 2 years.
Both girls were extremely happy and settled in Julie's care. My youngest daughter, having cried non-stop every day for weeks at her previous childminder, was instantly calm and happy with Julie from her very first day - quite a transformation!
Julie's setting is spacious, clean and tidy, providing a lovely calm environment for the children. She has a large number of toys, games and books, suitable for varying ages. She encourages the children to tidy up after themselves, helping install good habits.
She is always engaging the children in imaginative art and craft, cooking etc., projects, often timely for festivals, world events etc. My girls loved doing these and were always very proud of their work. It is also great that they are learning about cultures, history and the environment at the same time.
Julie takes the children to various groups on a regular basis where they are able to play with other children. She also often takes them on various outings. They have enjoyed trips to museums, parks, farms, the fire station amongst others. They always have a great time on these trips and I am very confident with how well they were being looked after.
The girls always came home on a full stomach having enjoyed a nutritious home-cooked meal that Julie had prepared for them.
I am extremely happy with the way my daughters have been cared for by Julie and would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents.

Julie has been our childminder for two years now ever since our son was nearly two. Julie is an extremely patient and organised person who has always tried her best to accommodate our needs. Our son has quickly created an amazing bond with her and enjoyed every day at her setting, this is also because Julie is very creative with her activities both indoor and outdoor. Julie is excellent in describing activities she has done with our son during the day and if any accidents occur as well. She also kept us up to date during the day by sending us pictures via text so we don't miss those precious moments.
Our son is also very keen on her, always asking if he'll be seeing Julie today and always looks forward to when he will be seeing her next. She has created a very special bond with our son and for this we are truly grateful for.
I would like to thank you for an amazing two years that you have been in our son's life and of course we are extremely grateful for your flexibility to help us when we were in need. We have never had an issues with you and because of this you have made our lives a lot easier and stress free as first time parents.
We will be more than happy to be contacted to provide a reference.

Just wanted to leave a review for Julie for anyone looking to use her services.
Julie was my daughters first childminder when I went back to work and was great at reassuring me my daughter would be fine while I was gone, the first few weeks she sent me lots of photos and updates during the day which really helped me with the settling in.
My daughter was very happy at Julie's and came on really well.
Julie is very friendly and easy to get on with and has a lovely home with great toys for the children to play with while they were at home.
My daughter especially enjoyed the craft and showing me her 'work'

when i decided to start a course at uni, my biggest worry was childcare. k is first child and as at that point, had not left the home environment. so at 6 months, i was really worried at leaving her with someone who was not i or her dad. we originally planned to put her in nursery but for some reason, i was not confident with that decision. so we opted for a minder instead.
we were at ease from that moment we saw julie. being that k was only 6 months, she took a very long time to settle in but julie had the patience of a saint. when she finally settled, she loved going there and would cry during the holidays when she didn't have to go to julies.
what i liked about julie was that she was firm with the children and yet loving. k was a very shy child she managed to encourage her to speak more. her children are also accommodating. i also liked the way all the children in her care interacted with each other. from the older ones to the younger ones - they all played together and were nice to one another.
I would absolutely recommend julie to anyone considering childcare. I would also like to thank her very much on behalf of myself and my k. k still cries every morning because she wants to go to julies house and not nursery. xx

My son is being looked after by Julie, he loves it. She is calm, structured and fun, everyday he is there they do different activities. The whole family makes him welcome. I have found Julie to be flexible and helpful.

Thank you for you kind words. I have enjoyed looking after your son and working in partnership with yourself. He enjoys the many activities we do and the trips we go on; tomorrow, as you know, he will visit Santa's Grotto, I'm just not sure who will be more excited, him or myself.
