Wonderful childcare

Cosy Cottage offers wonderful childcare. The setting brings together the very best of a nursery and a comfortable home making an environment which children can develop, learn and have fun in day after day. My daughter has been at Cosy Cottage since 10 months old and now,as she moves towards starting school, I feel that she is fully ready for this next step. My second daughter started in January, also at ten months, and settled in quickly. They have both formed some lovely friendships there.
Jodi is fantastic with the children and prepares many different activities for them to try and she has lots of resources for them to explore. These are often tailored around different themes. Although many activities are planned, everything is flexible and adapted to the day ahead, for example, a hot day may mean a trip to the parks water play. The local library, parks and shops are also visited regularly helping to develop confidence.
The house and garden are fabulous. The garden has a wonderful covered area, grass and secret areas to play and explore. There are lots of natural resources together with nice touches like binoculars, wheels, chalks and ride on cars. The house has areas for eating and messy play, a craft room and two lovely play areas which are well stocked with items to play, create and learn. Jodi and all the team there are professional, friendly and caring and regularly undertake training to update their skills. My children love it.

Excellent childcare

Jodi has everything a parent could want from a childminder. She is extremely professional, organised and dedicated to the children that she works with. There is always something new for the children to do and themes to work with in line with their development. Jodi takes the children out locally on a regular basis but she also has a garden which my daughter loves with 'ride' ons' , 'muddy puddles' and wonderful sensory play equipment, meaning that even a day at home is full of interest and fun. My daughter loves going to the setting and it's nice to feel confident that she is getting the best possible care when I have to leave her.
