About Us
Beechwood Park School is an independent co-educational prep school for children aged 3 to 13, including its own onsite Nursery. It is set in 37 acres of rural parkland outside Markyate village in Hertfordshire. Markyate is a short drive from Harpenden and St Albans. The school offers an extensive coach & minibus service to Harpenden, Redbourn, St Albans and villages.
Excellent facilities including Forest School, indoor swimming pool, Nursery, sports hall, extensive grounds and playing fields.
Our Childcare Provision
BEECHWOOD PARK SCHOOL IS ORGANISED INTO FOUR DEPARTMENTS:
Woodlands Nursery is located on site for children rising three to Reception age, in a new purpose-built, state of the art building, with a secure play area on the edge of the woodland and close to the Forest School.
The Junior Department caters for year groups from the Reception Class to the Second Form.
The Middle Department caters for those in the Third to Fifth Forms.
At the top of the age range (the Sixth to Top Forms) are the pupils in the Senior Department.
Many of the senior girls and boys enjoy the opportunity to board in their final years.
