Blackminster Middle School is a community school school in Evesham. According to the latest government data, it has approximately 237 pupils and allows entry for children aged 10-13.
About Us
We are very proud of our federation of schools and the education we provide for children across both sites, including our collaboration with Sunflowers Nursery based at Pebworth First School.
Here at Blackminster Middle School, we offer a rich and vibrant curriculum taught by subject experts in specialist facilities, including two fully equipped science laboratories, design and food technology workshops and dedicated art, music and IT areas. We have extensive playing fields, a gym and a climbing wall and provide many sporting opportunities both in and out of school. We were recently awarded the Artsmark Gold Award which is testimony to the musical, cultural and artistic activities available to all, including a school brass band and our annual school productions.
These opportunities are available to all students, including our year 6 pupils giving them a significant advantage over pupils in primary schools so they can make excellent progress in all subjects. Our school upholds traditional values alongside new, progressive technologies and our small class sizes and excellent tutor teams ensure we know our children well. In our recent Ofsted inspection, children reported that they feel safe and nurtured within the safety of a relatively small secondary style school which provides the perfect stepping stone from our small partner rural First Schools, into high school. We really do offer the best of primary and the best of secondary here at Blackminster Middle School.
