About Us
Ours is a very spacious nursery school with a range of learning spaces which are complimented by having a very large garden.
We have two qualified teachers and all other staff are trained to level three and four. This ensures that we can give the type of high quality education that has come to be expected in our country's nursery schools. Our staff team are also very skilled and experienced in supporting children with additional needs and with English as a second language. We have a very proactive governing body who hold the staff team to account and are responsible for the forward thinking attitude that pervades the school.
We believe that good nursery education is crucial, should be child centred and have families at its heart. We aim to provide a happy, fun place for young children to play, learn and have fun.
Our Childcare Provision
We offer education and care for two, three and four year old children. Our rooms for two year old children and for three year old children are adjacent and designed, furnished and resourced with a wide range of high quality resources. Children can mingle as they play outside and often visit each other's rooms. This means that brothers and sisters can meet up during the day.
We are open from 8am to 4pm and in addition to offering 15 hours of free childcare we can also accept payment for additional hours on a regular or less regular basis.
We are also very fortunate to host an artist in residence who works with the children each week and who runs craft and art classes independently on the school premises. This means that we place high value on creativity.
Recently, we have acquired the services of a football coach who specialises in working with young children.
