Nestled in the heart of picturesque Cheshire countryside in the small town of Marple, Brabyns Preparatory School is a co-educational independent day school for children aged two to eleven years.

Our Childcare Provision
Rated Outstanding by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in September 2014, the Early Years Foundation Stage at Brabyns consists of three classes: Little Gems and Kindergarten (which make up Brabyns Nursery) and Reception. All children in Nursery are guaranteed a place in our Reception Class.
At Brabyns, we believe that learning for young children should be a nurturing, rewarding and enjoyable experience in which they are able to explore, create and discover in a secure and happy environment. During Early Years at Brabyns, many aspects of learning are brought together through engaging play and discussion. We place emphasis on developing healthy minds and bodies and to help implement this we follow ‘Mind Kind’ and ‘Fit for Learning’ strategies. We also make full use of our enchanting countryside surroundings. Interested parents with young children are welcome to attend our Little Stars parent, baby and toddler group which take place on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
