About Us
Brambletye is an IAPS co-educational boarding & day Prep school & Pre-Prep for pupils between the ages of 2 ½ and 13. Pupils are prepared for Common Entrance or Scholarship Examinations to a wide range of senior schools.
The School is situated in a large country house overlooking the Ashdown Forest, in its own woodlands and extensive playing fields. The whole property covers 140 acres. The School has outstanding sporting, music, drama and arts facilities. These include an Art Room and Design Technology Workshop, an extensive Library, an ICT Room, a large Theatre and Music Rooms. There is also a Sports Hall, tennis and netball courts, two squash courts, an indoor swimming pool and several playing fields.
Brambletye has always been run along family lines and a happy, working relationship exists between staff and pupils.
The school aims to find for all boys and girls an area or subject at which they can excel and gain confidence and self-esteem. The goal is to develop a happy, confident and well-adjusted child, who works hard, enjoys drama, games and music, plays a part in some of the numerous societies and hobbies, and so takes a full share in the corporate life of the school.
Our Childcare Provision
The School's Nursery is open Monday to Friday during term time from 08.45am to 3.15pm.
Children can attend for morning sessions or full days.
Morning 8.15am/8.45am - 12.30pm
Full day 8.15am/8.45am - 3.15pm
The Pre Prep day runs from 8.30am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday. There is Breakfast Club from 7.30 and After School Clubs and After School Care until 5.45pm
