About Us
Brookland Junior School is a non-denominational community junior school for girls and boys between the ages of 7 and 11, maintained by the London Borough of Barnet. It is situated on the northern edge of Hampstead Garden Suburb in a residential area. The school benefits from a spacious, green setting and is screened from houses and roads.
We are a high achieving 3 form entry school, committed to enabling each child to be the best they can be, personally and academically, through our exciting, challenging and varied curriculum. Ongoing whole school and individual staff development is one key to our success. We have a wonderful staff team, supported by involved parents and governors. Our children are enthusiastic learners and proud of their school.
Our Childcare Provision
The school runs a breakfast club open for children for years 1 to years 6 from 8 am every weekday. We also provide an afterschool club run by an outside provider called Jelly Beans, which runs out of the infant school from 3.15 to 5.45 every week day. The school is also let to an outside provider for holiday camps which run from the school during the Easter and Summer holidays.
