About Us

We are a friendly church school with excellent facilities and resources, classroom support in each class with happy, motivated children. We make extensive use of our woodland setting and have a rich programme of extracurricular activities.
As a member of the Church of England our values and religious ethos can be seen in all aspects of our care and education. You can find out more information about our Christian Ethos and Heritage on this site.

Our Childcare Provision

Our school is a happy and secure place with a caring and welcoming atmosphere where children will learn and develop to the best of their potential. We offer an exciting curriculum in a motivating learning environment. Our last OFSTED inspection described us as a 'small school with a 'can do' attitude'. Children are challenged and learn through engaging new experiences, be able to talk about their learning and feel unafraid to make mistakes.
We create a happy and purposeful environment for all our children. In this atmosphere they acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to their present world and their future life. They develop lively, enquiring minds, self confidence and a positive approach to their present and the future. The Christian ethos of our school guides these young children to understand the world around them, the interdependence of individuals, groups and nations; and encourages tolerance and understanding of others.

Our aim is that when children leave our school, they will have developed the ability to discuss problems rationally and logically; to apply themselves to mental and physical tasks; to be fluent in reading and writing and to have a sound mathematical understanding that can be built on at their next schools; as well as understanding something of human achievement, both past and present.
