Greystoke Primary School is an academy converter school in Leicester.
About Us
Greystoke is a good school where children are our first priority. We aim to make learning fun while enabling all children to meet their full potential. We have a brilliant setting with great play area and we have a swimming pool on out site which enables all our children to learn to swim.
Greystoke children are supportive and caring of each other and are able to work equally well in a group as individually. They are proud of their school.
As well as high academic achievement we participate is a wide range of sporting and arts events which broaden the children's education. We go out on many trips including the whole school visiting the theatre every Christmas.
Our Childcare Provision
Greystoke has a strong tradition of nursery provision and we provide 24 places for 3 year olds in our new purpose built building. Parents are able to use their 15 hours free child care in a flexible way and can top up this with extra sessions.
The staff are experienced and skilled in providing and excellent individually designed provision which develops children's skills and supports their easy introduction into school.
From later in the year we are going to be offering before school and after school care in a renovated provision.
