Our Childcare Provision
Our aim is for every learner in the school to receive a broad, balanced and appropriate curriculum which meets their individual needs. This curriculum is planned using the National Curriculum framework and Programmes of study which are adapted to meet the needs of our learners. Early Years follow the new Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We also use materials from ‘Equals’ (a published scheme of work for SLD/PMLD pupils and ASDAN (an accredited scheme for 14-19 years). Emphasis is placed on developing personal, social and health education. As a school, we aim to foster improved communication, self worth, increased independence and knowledge of their community responsibilities.
